Help me sort myself out please

I'm going through a difficult time with dh at the moment and my diet has gone to pot. I've been living off junk food and, apart from cereal, I can't remember the last decent thing I've eaten. Its been like this for a few weeks now and I feel shit.
I give the kids decent enough food but can't be bothered for myself.
I need some really quick meal ideas please and some ready meal suggestions that aren't too unhealthy. And someone to tell me to snap out of it and sort myself out.
I think writing it here has helped me.

Hi Shaxx - sorry to hear you're having such a bad time. From what I've read, eating lots of junk encourages you to eat more junk, and then you feel bad physically because you're not getting the nutrients you need. In turn this makes you feel hungry blah blah vicious circle. So I think if you start with buying something like Innocent smoothies and have a big glass of that in the morning with your cereal, and maybe a banana mid-morning if you get hungry then that would be a good start. Then you try replacing your evening meal with some ready-made salad stuff (make it easy for yourself). so gradually introduce lots of good food alongside the junk and I think gradually the junk will disappear.

As far as easy meals go then pasta with a jar of tomato sauce is fine, or buy a ready-cooked chicken and eat that with salad or veg. Also ham with salad. HOpe it helps!

Yes I second above. Eat healthily, don't punish yourself 'cos yr DH is not helping yr self esteem . Try not to give anyone that power. Tell yourself you ARE worthy.

I've made a start.
On Monday, I took a trip to Holland and Barretts and got myself some multi-vits and healthy snacks.
I've been trying to eat meals but have still had some bad snack binges. I feel so rubbish as my clothes are definitely tighter and I had lost a stone of the 2 I'm hoping to lose.

I went to Marks and Spencers and have bought some lovely looking salads which were 3 for £5. I'm also trying to eat 2 portions of fruit a day. I've also got innocent smoothies which taste really good and are filling.

I really want to lose weight.

Tomorrow night we're having chicken tilla kebabs:

Chicken breast
1tbsp Pataks Chicken Tikka paste
175ml Total fat free youghurt
Wholemeal pitta
Salad

Stir 1tbsp tikka paste into the yohgurt. Cut chicken into chunks & marinade for min 2 hours or overnight if you can.
Stick on skewers & grill till cooked
Shove in pitta breads with salad.

1 pitta is about 375 calories.

Thanks ppeatfruit Smile
I'm not there yet but definitely getting there. I'm trying to focus on looking after myself and getting healthy.
I'm still craving junk food - crips, choc, cakes etc but really trying hard to not eat much and have caved in a couple of times.

Its easier when dh and I are not fighting but as soon as I get down about something, I just want to eat.

I'm battling the evening snacking at the moment!
