and I am over the moon.
Have lost 3 and a half stone since Feb/March through sheer bloody hard work of eating healthily and exercising about 4 times a week.

I was 1lb lighter than my target weight today at my weigh in with personal trainer.

Just need to maintain it now, still 5 weeks til hols and bikini

Wow, that's fantastic. Well done. Did you follow any specific diet plan? I am currently on Slimming World, 30 Day Shred, Davina and occasional gym visits. Tell me your secret!

Tortoise · 16/07/2010 19:02

Wow well done. You have done better than me! I have lost 1 stone since Jan!

buttonmoon78 · 16/07/2010 23:22

I just wanted to say well done. And that I'm jealous!

It's a bit sad that there are lots of posts on other threads but this one which deserves bigging up is a little lacking.

Well done anyway. I've taken the first steps - I've given up alcohol for a bit. Once ds begins nursery in Sept I'm going to join the gym to see if I can't whup this sorry arse of mine into shape.

LauraNorder · 16/07/2010 23:23

Wow! Well done you

ShrimpOnTheBarbie · 16/07/2010 23:28

Well done! How did you do it? I've recently got to goal weight following WW and developing a running habit. Enjoy buying a new, gorgeous swimsuit for your hols!

WorldsSlowestTypist · 17/07/2010 12:29

Well done! You must feel fantastic!

Have you given much thought to maintainance? Any tips from your trainer that you would like to share? I am getting close to my target weight (but the last few pounds are tough to shift) and I know that keeping the weight off is really hard for me.

Naetha · 18/07/2010 08:12

Really well done Mosschops, especially as you had a very tough time of it in the early days.

You're an inspiration

mosschops30 · 18/07/2010 15:40

Thanks all . I did have a bit of a splurge on friday night so am probably not at goal weight now lol

I havent followed a plan, just healthy eating, no carbs after lunch (apart from one night a week when i 'treat' myself to rice, bread or pasta
I have exercised 4 times a week at least doing body combat, swimming, pilates, gym, spinning and also walk to school and back every day.
I bought a size 10 bikini 2 months ago knowing that I had to get into it for holidays or id have nothing to wear as it was non returnable and you cant get a decent bikini in the sales now, it was good motivation.

Dont think I will change what im doing, will continuem to exercise ans cut out carbs, it hasnt been a scrifice just a change of lifestyle

LemonDifficult · 20/07/2010 20:51

Wow. Well done! Does it feel as good as you imagined it would when you started out? I love hearing success stories.

I'm so impressed/jealous. I've still got a stone and a half to go...

thereistheball · 23/07/2010 09:47
