@MummyInTheNecropolis congratulations on your bikini wearing! It’s such a good feeling isn’t it? I wore one today in the local pool with my kids. I did feel sad at how cold i was the whole time though!! I’m sure the holiday gain will melt away soon enough. I am definitely a fan of not weighing for a few days when I get back because I think the scales do tend to be falsely elevated.

Pharmulous queried my 8 week gap so hopefully will approve after my reply, then going to change to Swift Doctor, so I can order every 8 weeks worry free.

Back from an all inclusive holiday and 4lbs up. Being strict to try and get rid, though it isn’t easy without the jabs. One year off them now.
I wore a bikini for the first time too…. My tummy didn’t tan at all! I think it was shocked after being covered up for years!

I may try swift doctor for my next one in that case, thanks for info: good luck with Pharmulous, I registered an official complaint with them yesterday!

@MummyInTheNecropolis how about that for bikini success on holiday! That's fantastic - you must have felt amazing. Did you catch a reflection in windows every now and then and wonder who that slim lady was, and then have the immense satisfaction of realizing it was you. (That's one of my favourite things to happen to me.)

Great to hear you had a lovely holiday and you are back on it again now you are home.

@Sadteacher 4lbs isn't really that much. It won't all be fat either, some of it will just be retained water from more carbs than usual (I'm guessing on the carbs!)

Congrats on being off the jabs for a year and maintaining too.

@Azuresky68 let us know how it goes with Pharmulous.

Thanks @MargoLivebetter . It has always been a few pounds on at Christmas and holidays, then ended up a few stone. Hopefully, I can keep on top of it this time. I don’t find it easy to lose weight or I wouldn’t have needed the jabs in the first place. I feel like I’m on a permanent diet just maintaining! I just try to think of all the money I’ve saved to spur me on! My mum used to eat half portions for a week after her holidays and she has been 8 stone her whole life. We are both short so don’t need many calories. Sadly!

Amazing news and progress guys! I feel up after holidays but haven’t weighed in weeks and weeks. I’m going to ve careful and try and go by looks and the feel of my clothes.

I’ve had a mirena fitted and keep having periods and that seems to be causing a lot of bloating. I hope it won’t mean weight gain.

I had one fitted 18 months ago. This week i had bleeding for the first time in 4 months. I put 4lbs on but my scale said it was water. Within a few days it all went and I was back to my usual weight.

I’d really like to settle to not having these week on week off periods. It’s good to know it’s water and just comes on and off.

I had a mirena coil fitted as part of a gynae op 6 weeks ago. I bled for 4 weeks but now stopped, I’ve not noticed any change in weight. Hope it settles soon!

Just a quick heads up re Pharmulous. I got them to approve my order..8 week gap, after a polite but assertive message..i am excellent at complaining. Definitely switching over to Swift Doctor now as they explicitly state a gap of 8 weeks is allowed. Pharmulous has asked me to submit a video weight verification before my next order.

@Azuresky68 thank you for the update, that is good to know. I suspect I shall be moving on from Pharmulous too. An 8 week order gap would be perfect for me.

Sticking a tentative toe on the maintain thread… how do you all do it? I’m on 7.5mg and have naturally reached a plateau I’m happy with. Would love to start titrating down. But no clue what to aim for and how it works with prescribers etc. I’ve been jabbing from a 10mg pen and almost got caught out this month as it had been just over four weeks, they tried saying no initially. So not sure how it works if you are to spread a pen over longer?? Any maintenance tips welcome, thank you!

Hello @Springbaby2023 and welcome. Congratulations on getting here first off.

If you look at the Monj website you will see that there are number of suppliers who do maintenance now. As you can tell from a quick trawl through the maintenance threads, some are more flexible than others. Quite a few of us have been using Pharmulous and are now looking at other options. I think there are two recent posters looking to use Swift.

There is no one size fits all option and most of us who've been doing this for a while have tinkered around to find a dose and time interval that suit us. Some have managed to cold turkey too and maintain - so you may not need to be on it forever!

Until you try, you won't know what works. My suggestion would be try one thing at a time, so either reduce dose or space out doses but don't do it all at once, otherwise it is very hard to know what is having an impact.

I’m away and in a bikini for the first time in 10yrs +. Decides a brown flabby loose skin tummy looks better then a white flabby loose skin tummy.

I will end up gaining this holiday, but I will sort it out once home

@MargoLivebetter Thank you that’s good advice. I’m going on holiday next week so waiting until after that but then want to try decreasing dose first of all. I’ve used monj for discount prices, didn’t realise there was a maintenance section so will definitely check that out, thank you.

Swift Doctor are very quick to reply to any queries if you have any. Go on website and use the contact form. You xan then use Whats App for any questions 👍

After much faffing, I have gone with Lotus Health for my next order. They appear to have a flexible approach to maintenance. Let's see how it plays out!

I had to provide a front & side photo, give my original starting weight from 2024, current weight, goal / maintenance weight, height, BMI etc. They also required evidence of a previous order that was no more than 6 months old. Thankfully, no videos. They'll maintain you down to a BMI of 19. My BMI is currently 21.8, so that was all good.

They have a funky app, that I probably won't use and a 12 week maintenance programme that I get free access too as well, so I might have a gander at it. TBH, maintenance for me looks like a half dose of MJ once a week! But you never know, there may be some nuggets of useful information I haven't yet discovered.

Are lotus flexible with gaps between pens do you know?

I'm really hoping so @FurForksSake . They say that you decide when to re-order. They will ask a few questions to check everything is still ok and then approve the order. I suspect I won't know for 100% certain until I try. Ideally, I'd like to order every 8 weeks.

Hi all! I have been on MJ since June 24 and maintaining on 6.25mg. I bulk bought when the prices went up so am coming to the end of my stash and need to reorder. My last order was nov 25 so over 6 months so do we know any providers that I could start on 2.5mg again with?
