After spending past years saying I will definitely never use and they are not for me etc etc. I’m debating whether to just go for it, tbh I’m scared of side effects as I know they haven’t been throughly tested but I’m debating it. Can people on them please guide me? Where do I get from? Which one? How? Even though I am overweight I don’t want to go through doctor as he’s rubbish and this week trying to get an appointment to even discuss has been futile do I won’t go through GP. Please advise me x

I think steer clear op too; in fact all prescription meds.

All prescription medication? Wow 😆

Well if she’s this concerned about this prescription med, I assume she has the same fear of all prescription meds, they all come with potential side effects, and she must be interrogating doctors to the trials and how long it’s been on the market.

obesity is the most lethal health issue we have, it’s the number 1 cause of cancer, and then we have heart attack, stroke, and all the other health issues, so if you won’t take a prescription med for that, what the hell would you take it for.

I must admit I was very wary of trying the jab but my daughter lost 4 st and I decided to give it a go. I’m 9 weeks in and lost 1st 7lbs and can honestly say I’ve had ZERO side effects.

It really is a life changer but you’ve got to be totally committed. It’s not a magic fix.

She did Mounjaro. That’s what I’m on now.
my daughter then tried Wegovy as it’s quite a bit cheaper but she said it had no positive effects for her. No suppression and the food noise was really high.

@LookAtThatMartin I’ve just ordered mounjaro! I’m so nervous but I’m going ahead with it. I’ve joined the weight loss chat section too. Can I ask - did u or daughter have any side effects?

My daughter felt a bit queasy the day after taking it but no more than that.
I’ve been very lucky I think as I’ve had absolutely no side effects at all.

Im sure you’ll be fine. You do hear some horror stories, however the percentage of people who say that is minuscule compared to the millions of people who take the jab.

Good luck - let me know how you get o. And I’m happy chat if you want any help or advice x x
