Taking a week off?

I’ve been on mj for 2 wks, going ok-a few mild side effects. I have a big weekend away & know it’ll involve lots of drinking & eating…. But I know already if I even slightly overeat or don’t eat super clean I feel sick & I’ve not drunk on it yet..I want to enjoy the weekend though - would it be ok to just skip a week at this stage so there’s minimal medication in my system?

The point I was making was as you’re on such a low dose, and only injected twice, you likely will have a week of that, your hunger would be back, hungover etc, and then you’d be like that till your next injection. But as you’re only delaying a couple of days it will limit it, but much of the fluid will come back as well as some of the fat. No way round it,

@SwitchingUpWLI I'm at target, I've been maintaining since July, reducing doses, going a bit longer between doses. Maintaining takes a lot of work. I started March 2024 so it was a long time down to goal, but I had a lot to lose.

Well done, maintaining is hard isn’t it, you’ve done brilliantly. I’m not there yet, about half way there but feel better able to face it this time with the medication than with previous times. Can I ask what maintenance dose did you find that works best for you @KeepUndercover and how long are you going between doses? (Ie how long you are spacing doses?) Thanks!

Even wit skipping a week you may still find out that you don’t tolerate alcohol well.

i can hardly drink more than one glass per week and i don’t really want to most of the time.

i was at my work’s Christmas party yesterday and we had a cocktail menu and I didn’t fancy anything and Sri j to a glass of wine and water.

the last time I drunk more than 1-2 glasses I felt horrible ill.
