How much has everyone lost?

Just looking for some motivation really. I can’t imagine life not being fat, wearing plus size and feeling uncomfortable all of the time. Can’t even imagine being a size 12/14!

Im a little over 16 stone and wear a UK 18-20, 22 in fitted dresses. I’m 5ft 2 so I have a good 6-7 stone to lose. Anyone else lost that much? I can’t remember the last time I felt nice in my own skin, the only thing I like about my body is that I’ve grown and birthed my beautiful daughter. I just want to feel good for once in my adult life. I’ve seen lots of stuff on social media but want to hear from real people about their successful weight loss and how it’s made them feel.

I don’t know if it’s actually helpful to compare to other people, but just this week I have lost 10st in total. From 22st to 12st. I was a size 24 plus, now I’m a size 12 to 14.

As you can imagine, I feel great about it! It’s been a long time to get here and I’m not done yet, but there are so many positives I can’t even list them all. The only downside is a burgeoning Vinted obsession as I need to get smaller and smaller clothes!

Boxingshibes · 19/09/2025 21:30

I'm 5ft9 and I was 104kg now 88kg. Clothes are too big. Mounjaro is working!
Still got kg to loose. Was size 20 now 16/14.
My face has changed the most i no longer have a big double chin.

Congrats you must feel amazing. No double chin is a huge goal of mine. I don’t feel like it’s doing much for me, think I need to go up to 5mg next month.

Injections only or any treatment?

Justdancinginthedark · 19/09/2025 21:43

I took my 4th shot yesterday and so far have went from 16.6 1/2 to 15.8 3/4. I'm trying to build good eating habits at the same time that I wasn't able to do dieting alone.

I did 1 month on 2.5 and now nearly 3 months on 5. I got suppression immediately so am struggling to eat.

slummymummy35 · 19/09/2025 22:10

I've been on it a year and have lost 3.5 stone - down from 14stone 7 to 11stone. It's life changing.
I now run 3 times a week, I went horse riding in the summer, I feel amazing in clothes and I just have so much more confidence in my day to day life

Sallycinnamum · 19/09/2025 22:19

I have been on it since May and have lost over two stone taking me to 9st7lbs.

I never thought in a million years I'd be in the 9s again and I've not gone above 3.5mg.

The food suppression has lessened over the last month or so and I am effectively in maintenance now. I am getting used to feeling hungry and making sensible choices.

Mounjaro had been life changing for me too and im so glad that after dithering over whether to take it for nearly a year I took the plunge!

HansHolbein · 19/09/2025 23:35

Started in October at 16st 2.7lbs. I am now 8st. Maintaining now. Size 20-22 to size 6-8. I look and feel fantastic. Best thing I ever did. Looking forward to staying on it long term. I finally have peace. Best of luck to you.

That’s insane! Massive congrats, half of your body weight… and size 6?! I’d be happy with a 12 🤣

ive lost pretty much exactly 6 stone (weigh day tomorrow and have 1lb to lose before I I hit 6 stone).
started at the end of October 2024 at 16st 1, 5’7, dress size 18 and as of last Saturday was 10st 2.
I took photos today and have matched them up next to my old photos and the transformation has had me in utter disbelief all day tbh. I keep looking at them in shock.
the different is stark, like looking at 2 different people. If you’d shown me photos last year of today me I wouldn’t believe it could ever happen. And yet here I am, buying size 10 clothes and feeling so fit and healthy.
I’ve lost the last stone over about 3 months, after the first 5 months the weight loss slowed pretty dramatically but it’s just been a steady consistent chipping away, a pound off and on. I didn’t have a target in mind when I started, but now I think I’ve finally reached it.
i think if I lose more I’ll start to look weirdly out of proportion.
What has made a difference is the toning up (although the bingo wings are stubbornly refusing to fuck off 😂 I reckon a stone of my weight is my upper arms!), although I’m not really losing weight anymore my shape is changing and I’m looking more lean.

FlowersFawb · 19/09/2025 23:55

Started in Jan, 17 stone 5 ft 6 and a size 18.

Now 11 stone and a size 12.

6 stone gone!

AppleDumplingWithCustard · 20/09/2025 01:46

Just over 4 st in a year. I’m now 8st at 5ft 2ins so not planning to lose any more.

MumofSpud · 20/09/2025 06:22

I’ve bee on it since start of August
So far lost 2 stone 2 -
14,4 to 12,2
Down x 2 dress sizes
I have cut out carbs, caffeine and started swimming too !

unsync · 20/09/2025 07:06

48.7 kg. Four kilos to go. BMI has halved.

Thelankyone · 20/09/2025 07:15

Lost six and a half stone in 11 months, down from 15.6 stone to 9 stone. Size 18 to size 8-10, am 5ft 6.5.

I am now in maintenance for about thr last 4 -5 months, and taking 5mg,which I intend to stay on unless something better comes to market.

I feel fab, weaning myself off a serious vinted addiction, as it’s lovely feeling good when you get dressed and have bought far too many beautiful clothes, that and the fact you know they will fit.

I also work out about 6 days a week and love the fact I can see muscle tone and definition. Loose skin is on my upper arms only, which im working on building my triceps to minimise, but it’s not bad to be honest, just a bit crepy when I move.

im in my fifties, my face looks way more youthful, as the puffiness and double chin has gone and I have definition back, and I like my appearance again.

its expensive, and I do not like how el Lilly have behaved, i get they are a business, and wish ti maximise profit, but they also need to behave responsibly and I don’t beleive they have.

However im lucky I can afford to stay on, and I do beleive in a few years price will drop, and suspect that’s what’s behind el Lilly’s current behaviour, as they know it too, they are trying to max profit before it happens,

im not going back to how i was, and will continue to take the drug for many reasons, namely both the health benefits, ie reduction in cancers, inflammation, heart and liver benefits and also so I can now live my life not facing a daily battle with my weight, not feeling deprived and wanting food I don’t need, so if right now this is the price I need to pay, so be it.

ILoveLeopard245 · 20/09/2025 07:18

I’ve lost over 7stone since sept 24. I am 5’5”, and was 16st 10. I was a size 20 but kidded myself I could shoehorn myself into an 18 sometimes 😆.
Now I weigh 9st 7 and I’m a 12, sometimes a 10.

Mrsmounjaro · 20/09/2025 07:49

Ive lost 5 stone 3 lbs since may 2024. 14st 10 down to 9st 7. Size 18 to 8-10. Currently maintaining on 10mg of mj but will be switching to wegovy when my stash runs out

How much has everyone lost?
DarkForces · 20/09/2025 07:54

About 5.5stone. It's taken just under a year to get from 14.5 to 9 stone and I'm now a size 10 and moving to maintenance. I look so much better although I'm just entering perimenopause so once I've got hrt in the mix should be on top of the world!

PermanentTemporary · 20/09/2025 08:03

Just under 3 and a half stone in a year. I have about another 8kg to go. I went up to 5 before I had any effect at all and am now sitting at 10 with very very slow loss, but had terrible side effects any higher. It’s so expensive now that it’s motivating me to try for a promotion just to afford it. But it is truly amazing to feel so OK. I’m still a 16/18 and don’t expect ever to be smaller than a 16, but I don’t really care about that. What is amazing is all the debilitating stuff that has just gone. The depressing swollen ankles, the joint aches, the time spent avoiding climbing stairs because it was so effortful. I snore less. And yes, it’s lovely to feel like I look fine too.

rewardh · 20/09/2025 08:13

I am the same height as you and have dropped 6 and a half stone since using MJ. I just take 2.5mg and it’s enough to stop me overeating and keep me healthy eating. I was a size 22/24 and I’m now 14/16 - my brain hasn’t quite caught up but it’s been life changing all the same

KatieLGriff · 20/09/2025 09:02

Started May 2024 and have lost 5st 5lb, going from 16st to 10st 9lb. I'm 5ft 1 so 'officially' have another stone and a bit to go before I get to a healthy BMI. I am still losing but very slowly and I am ok with that, am comfortably a size 12, feel a million times better and have even joined a gym. Life changing and like you I could never imagine being this size. Good luck!

Fatmumslim01 · 20/09/2025 09:09

I'm a similar starting weight and height to you @OrangePotatoO Im 6 months into MJ tomorrow and have lost 36 pounds, just over 2 and a half stone! I'm 5 foot and my starting weight was 14-7 which was a BMI of 39.8 and I'm now 11-13 which I think is a BMI of around 33 so still a long way to go! My goal is 9-7 which would still be overweight but I think I'd be very happy at that, or I may maintain a bit over that, first goal is to get to "overweight" rather than "obese" and then I will see how it goes

Anotherename · 20/09/2025 09:14

Started in January and have lost 70lb (5stone)
feel so much better- even though I have so much more to lose.
it’s slowing down a bit (first few months I was loosing 10lb every month, now it’s more like 5lb)

for me the best thing is buying clothes in shops again !
