Anyone sticking with Mounjaro despite the price increase?

I’m still debating, I have my next pen then need to decide.

I was going to swap but think I can afford to continue but I'll need to drop from 7.5mg to 5mg and hope I can manage as I found the 5mg a bit rubbish for me on the way up.
I'm almost at target only about half a stone left so not too big a deal about weight loss more whether I can maintain it

Yes, but I'm 2 months in and 26lb down, on 1.875mg (was using 1.25mg for the first 7 weeks). So I'm lucky to be really sensitive to it.

I managed to purchase 3 x 2.5mg pens before the price hike. So hopefully i will be reasonably close to goal weight by the time my current supply runs out, and will only have to buy a few more 2.5mg or 5mg pens for the last push. I obviously originally budgeted for needing a normal dose, so this should still be in the same ballpark.

I then intend to try wegovy for maintenance.

I'm not sure how i would have coped with the new prices if I'd ended up on 15mg though.

I don’t understand the golden dose as it is not a full dose. It’s just a little bit

I've had a full dose. It depends how much you've had to use when priming the pen for injections

I’m staying on it. Started in January and have lost 4st so far. I’m nearly at my goal weight and will start tapering down soon. This is my gift to myself.

Leaning towards it. I'll be at just about BMI 25 by the time I get through my current and next 5mg pen, so not everywhere would let me switch anyway and I'll need to drop to the lowest dose for maintenance. Factoring in the golden dose there isn't much difference, so it's easier not to switch.

Just to say that I also have severe lipoedema and this is the first thing that's ever worked for it! Finally they are starting to go down and the pain and heaviness disappeared! So for that reason alone i'll
stay on MJ

I will. I have 4 stone to loose to get to a normal bmi. The plan was to loose enough to get out of being obese, buy now I've lost two stone I think I need to loose more than just 1.5 stone. I have dropped a dress size yet. To get to my top healthy bmi I need to drop another 4 stone. It's too much to loose to piss about now swopping for me.

I don't intend on staying on this for life. I'm going to loose and get off it asap.
