Can't believe we filled up a whole thread! Welcome to thread 2.

On a positive note to start us off, I've lost 1lb of the two that I gained from my autumnal apple crumble caper. Filling full of resolve and pleased to know I can gain a pound or two (which is of course completely normal) and then lose them again.

I think towards the end of October I'll have another maintenance call with Oushk so they know what I'm doing and keep me on their books even if I'm not ordering any pens.

Will be interested to know if they charge you £15 🤔

20bloodypounds · 05/10/2025 19:48

I'll let you know @Azuresky68

Joining and saying hello! I see a few familiar faces on here...

I took my last jab 10 days ago if 2.5mg - it was the end of my pen, and I have titrated down since July from 7.5mg. I'm worried about coming off, I've felt free in the past 10 months and I'm worried about obsessing about it all again.

I've lost 40lbs in total, and am 5ft 1. My BMI is now 23.5 and I've set my 'range' between 8.11 and 9. Anything in there I'm happy with, anything out of there I need to do something about.

I'm excited also to see what I can do without the jabs, but I'm fully open to doing it again if I struggle for any reason. Life is too short to put the weight back on again. I love my new size. I've signed up to the Oushk flex plan - happy to pay £15 per month to guarantee getting a pen if ever I need it. Will do that for the next year and see how I go.

Very interesting to hear all of your experiences.

MargoLivebetter · 06/10/2025 12:08

Welcome @Thelittlestranger . Good to hear how much you've lost and that you are excited for the next stage. You are right life is too short to go back to where we all were before! Keep us posted as to how you get on.

@Thelittlestranger I will be watching your journey with interest! I've been maintaining since the end of May but I have jabbed 2.5mg weekly (and the odd 3.75mg at the beginning) since then. I'm a little unsure what to do and a similar height to you (156cm / 5'1.5) so every pound shows. I also know that I cannot afford to put weight on again but don't want to feel like I'm on a diet for the rest of my life. With mj it's been easy and I've never once felt deprived or felt that I needed to choose something lower calorie because I wanted to lose weight. In fact I choose the option I want but most of the time I can't finish it!
I have an added complexity which will hopefully be helpful to me, in that I am on the waiting list for ADHD medication, so I've now decided I want to come off mj for that. The waiting list is 3 months so I have a while and just need to decide when to stop (a month, 2 weeks, just before) as the medication can also cause suppression although may take time to build up... And I'm in the middle of a 5mg pen and another in the fridge, plus intend to buy a pen from Pharmulous to get on their books.
I really hope that I can be successful off medication like many others on this thread (I am however a realist and I struggled with binge eating, hence thinking ADHD medication may actually do the job for me...)

I thought the new flex plan was now £5 not £15 or am I totally confused

still think it’s cheeky to charge when pharmolous doesn’t but will allow you to get another pen up to a year after last order

Totally agree..going to order from Pharmulous next time and thanks for flagging them up. I paid £5 one off to Oushk for taper but not sure about flexi. Probably won't order from Oushk again. I used points to pay for plan so nothing lost really (apart from weight of course 😅)

Swift are also flexible and are not charging per month.

Thelittlestranger · 06/10/2025 16:09

@Blondeshavemorefun that's why they just charged me £5 then 🤣 I didn't know about Pharmulous or Swift. Can you join at a lower BMI even if you haven't ordered pens from them before?

Hi @tinyemmy - we are on the same Jan thread 😊

sylv165 · 06/10/2025 16:17

I haven’t had my maintenance call with Oushk yet (scheduled for November at some point 🙄) but does paying the monthly fee allow you to order at any point in the future, or is it limited to a 12 month period too? Just trying to work out whether there is any benefit to signing up to maintenance with them rather than pharmulous?

I've just ordered with Swift and my BMI is 22. It was super easy, had to upload ID, photo and proof of prescription but they didn't follow up with more questions.

Also hi everyone, I've been lurking as I'm also maintaining now. Currently going down the doses. I'm on 10mg at the moment and a bit haphazard about remembering to inject so it's occasionally 10 days rather than weekly. I'm currently top of my desired range, I've been a lot more tempted by less nutritious foods. Trying to get a handle on that. Currently the Mounjaro is still limiting how much I can eat so things are ok but I want to be eating a more balanced diet than I currently am. I definitely don't have the same lack of interest in treats I did when I first started, but that was starting to decline even when I was on 15mg, it felt like I got used to the medication to an extent.

MargoLivebetter · 06/10/2025 16:30

Hello @KeepUndercover welcome to this maintenance thread. Thank you also for posting about your experience with Swift. That sounds very straightforward, which is great. Keep us posted with how you get on as you cut down.

Yes can order from Swift as long as evidence you did qualify on BMI at the outset. I can’t remember whether the cut off is 21 or 22. Email them they are very helpful. The only caveat is that if you have a gap need to go back down to 2.5mg.

Yes I joined them at think 22.5 or 23

they are very fast. Don’t do offers or codes and just have a set Price and free p&p

shame i don’t work on commission as have flagged them lots as good

Hi everyone. I’ve been lurking for a while but think it’s time for me to introduce myself.

I’ve been at goal for a couple of weeks now. It’s taken me 6 months to go from a BMI of 30 to around 22.5 (3 stone loss) I wouldn’t mind dropping a few more pounds to give me a buffer but I don’t want to go below 10st (currently weigh 10st 7 and size 10/12).

I have one more dose of my current 5mg pen which I will take on Friday. Then I plan to take 3.75mg for at least the next 6 wks. Then titrate down again at that point. I think I’ll aim to maintain on a low dose for around a year (hoping set point theory works) before coming off entirely. I’m 44 so ideally don’t want to be on WLI for the next 40 years but also don’t ever want to regain. I’ve signed up to flexi with oushk so will be able to get pens when I need to. I don’t think I have the energy to find a new supplier at this stage and as someone who paid for weight watchers for 2 years while never even opening the app £15 a month to guarantee a pen when I need it doesn’t seem too awful.

I’ve been reading this thread and feeling inspired by those maintaining already - hope I can be one of you too :)

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/10/2025 18:24

I also paid for ww app for about 2yrs and pissed about with it 😳😳

At one point, 2 years ago, I was simultaneously a member of WW, SW and seeing a private nutritionist. Mad!
WW simply didn't work, but I had prepaid for 10 weeks. So I joined SW which was a better plan but the lack of healthy fat made my skin dry and my face look drawn. Private nutritionist told me everything that I knew already.
Thank Goodness for MJ.

Ww did work for me once. 20yrs ago. Then tried sw. Tho didn’t really lose right as when I did calories of it , it was 2500/3000 a day - no wonder I did t lose it

tho have friends who have lost 4/6/8s on sw

Benefit with oushk is being able buy a pen anytime, for years to come, there's no 1 year limit so for the long term it's better but there may be other weight loss treatments out by then like tablets. Oushk also say you have access to their nutritionist and specialists.
I'm with Oushk but was considering moving to pharmulous but I've just bought wegovy pen and already have 2 x 10mg pens left so would be next year if I did move.

Yes @Thelittlestranger I was going to mention that I was going to follow your journey here and in the January thread but thought that sounded a bit stalkerish 🤣🤣🤣

I don't want to order any pens for now as I'm off and looking to go it on my own, I just want to know I can do, so will stay with Oushk for now. Although, having paid £5, I haven't actually received anything to say I'm 'on' their flex plan. Will take a look shortly...thanks for all the info all!

Have you had a maintenance consultation? The flexi plan is 15 a month. Conti and taper are £5 one off.

Yes, I went on the taper plan beginning of July.

Have now tapered down from 7.5mg using the discount codes they gave me and now have finished my last pen and going it alone as of 10 days ago. So wanted to join the flex plan. The only option I had was to pay £5. I did call them up a few weeks ago, and they said 'no problem, you don't need a consultation, we'll send you a link' but it didn't arrive. I expect I'm going to have to call them again....

MargoLivebetter · 07/10/2025 08:17

Welcome @Incognitoburrito88 and congratulations on reaching your goal and a healthy BMI. I chuckled at your WW experience. I loathed WW. There was something so performative about it. But I was a member back in the day when you went to a weekly meeting and all sat about feeling shameful and fat, with some bright, chirpy rep trying to be upbeat about it all. Anyhow, I digress! Keep us posted with your maintenance progress.
