Does the injection hurt?

I didn't realise the jab came with an actual needle that I'd have to inject.
This is a bit wussy but ... Is the jab going to hurt?

I think she means a bit like an epipen?

Ah that makes sense. It sort of is, but you have to put the needle on yourself.

The needle is super-thin. I’m not the hugest needle fan but honestly it’s been a breeze so far.

Injected my first dose 10 minutes ago.🏅

As PPs said - it was much easier than expected.

I did 😵‍💫 at the sight of the needle, but took a deep breath, injected - and felt nothing - not even a scratch 😄

Yey well done!

I'm a needle phobe and think that Mounjaro might actually go a long way to making me less phobic. The first time I ordered an actual syringe to use the bonus 5th dose I knew something had changed in me. I always refuse the free flu jab my work offers because I'm scared of the needle. I'd have never thought it possible for me to choose to inject myself. Especially with an actual syringe. I think I feel much less scared of needles now I'm in control of them
