Awful symptoms on 10mg Mounjaro - what to do next?

I've just started on the 10mg dose of Mounjaro and the first 3 days were horrendous with nausea and constipation. I had to lie in bed for 2 of those days, and take loads of remedies to combat the nausea. It really wiped me out.

I'm now 10 days after taking that dose and I can't bring myself to take the next one but know I need to decided pretty sharpish what I'm going to do next.

Will the second 10mg dose be better? What are other people's experiences?

I was ok on 7.5mg with just mild nagging nausea. Had no idea I'd feel so awful on 10.

Should I downgrade to 7.5mg? I've paid for this pen so it grates to waste it.

Please help me decide what to do. I can't face 3 days of feeling so ill again.

To answer some comments that it's not working, I have lost 11kg overall but it has fluctuated. Didn't see any difference until 7.5mg really but I'm definitely not working hard enough on the healthy diet side of things. I'm just eating a bit less than before. I've also had a few gaps between doses/pens where my appetite has soared.

The recent bad side effects were certainly made worse by not eating. I felt so sick I couldn't stomach anything passing my lips. Which then meant my stomach was empty.

I had to take so many drugs to counter the symptoms and felt utterly dreadful that I just wanted to curl up in bed for days.

I tried the reduced clicks yesterday on the pen (45) and only mild nausea/wind/cramps today which I feel I can handle.

I had horrendous side effects on 5mg of mounjaro and ozempic- constant nausea, chronic constipation and stomach cramps. I had to stop taking both. I only lost 7lbs in 7 weeks as it was only a low dose. Had to accept the fact it just doesn’t suit me. Now trying to lose weight the hard way (but probably the right way) through diet and exercise.

I had vomiting and diarrhoea on 10mg so have moved back down to 7.5mg. I was fine before 10mg, seems it’s just too much for me.
