Creating this in advance, as the old thread is suddenly moving quickly due to recent events. No matter what challenges lie ahead we are still making amazing progress - so let’s keep supporting one another along the way as we approach 4 months ‘on the pen’.

@slightlysmallerPoisonIvy
Great loss! You must feel so much better.
Just because you still have a way to go - look how far you've come already!

Well done @slightlysmallerPoisonIvy - phenomenal loss! 👏

Great work @BeachBodyAim 🎉

Hope the building work gets finished and you can get onto the fun stuff of setting your space up @cannyvalley. Did the slow cooker make it out of the cupboard? I definitely need to use mine more than I do, recipes have always been a bit liquid-y and bland which puts me off using it 😬.

Hope the entertaining went well @Zebracat and your salad tasted delicious!

Another lb bites the dust, @Scousebloke, well done!

Great progress @wendywoopywoo222, amazing loss and hope you can keep going (price-wise) until you reach the point that feels right to you 🎉

Congrats @violetmondays 🎉🎉🎉

Loving the Zara/Levi 👖 NSVs @Merlin23. Hope loss is yours this week; your overall loss has been mind-blowing so a little pause is just a resting point x

Great loss @Crunchymum! How amazing that you’re at what was your goal weight and that you’ve had to achieve all that with perhaps more of a struggle on the MJ effectiveness journey than others 🎉. That healthy BMI will be yours 😁.

Well done @Coffeeandallthebooks, great steady loss 💪

Hope your order got approved @PeachSnail. I got a 7.5mg pen for £203 which was the cheapest available under the new prices on Monj for a supplier I’d not used before to get the first order discount (still 😢 at the prices for people being priced out).

Love a good whoosh @dozywelshbird and hope it continues!

PumpKim · 19/10/2025 10:14

Official weigh in day, just 0.6lb this week. Frustrated it's not more but I've still not broken my losing streak which I know is amazing in itself.

I really can't help feeling envious of all of you with much bigger weight losses over these last 6 months. I do give myself a mental slap and a talking to because we're on our own journey not a competition but my weight loss is so slow and I've still got a long way to go. I'm only half way to my target.
I also can't help thinking, do I really need MJ to help me lose 0.5lb a week, surely I could save the money and do that myself 🙈
Also doesn't help that my husband decided to lose weight, so he did 🤣 and here I am still plodding on and spending a fortune.

Sorry everyone, having a feeling sorry for myself moment. Hormones at play.

Merlin23 · 19/10/2025 10:37

@PumpKim
Never compare yourself to a man's weight loss. My husband is a medium build and put on a tiny tummy. He went running 3 time a week for 2 weeks - tummy gone.
They are built differently to us. Hormones change everyday for us.
Our brains are also wired differently. They say I'm going on a diet and they're on a diet. We say we're going on a diet and 1,2,3,4....... weeks pass then we're on a diet.
If you've lost every week that is good. What dose are you on?

PumpKim · 19/10/2025 10:49

@Merlin23 thank you for the sense check.
I'm on 7.5mg and I definitely would have increased my dose if it wasn't for the price rises but it's just not affordable now.

You've got this! 🥰

Zebracat · 19/10/2025 11:03

@slightlysmallerPoisonIvy I am agog at the weight you have lost. I think sometimes we believe all the crap about Mounjaro being a cheat. But it’s not, it’s still hard and you’ve smashed it. I called mine a stall but it was more that I kept expecting to lose weight despite falling back into carbs and sugar habits, I’m going to climb onto your coattails and try to keep up. You are an inspiration.

Interesting, thought I'd see what price it was and after completing the questionnaire it just said I wasn't eligible for weight loss treatment. I ticked the box to say I was already taking it, and I have no other health conditions so not sure what it is stopping me 🤷‍♀️

Merlin23 · 19/10/2025 11:45

That's odd
I went all the way through to check out. My BMI is now 26.5
I didn't purchase as I'm hoping I've got enough but wanted to see if the code worked.
Can you go back through and change any answers.

Yeah, weird. Nothing I could change without saying I've got a condition that I haven't. I even increased my weight slightly to put me back at 30 bmi and it still said I couldn't be prescribed safely. Nevermind.

🤷‍♂️🤔😳

PeachSnail · 19/10/2025 15:39

That doesn't sound right @PumpKim@Merlin23

As a new customer, I managed to get my 5mg pen from IQ Doctor approved same day and delivered the next day... And that's with BMI 24.4... Though I do have high cholesterol as an added health factor?

slightlysmallerPoisonIvy · 19/10/2025 18:10

@Merlin23 thank you 😊 I do, so much better!

@Coventree Thank you! 😘

@PumpKim Great loss! You might still lose 0.5lbs per week without the mounjaro, but how much hungrier would you be and would you be able to stay on track with the food noise back to consistently lose that 0.5 every week? I have also had many thoughts of I should do it without the expense of mj but when I think back to how much I tortured myself with hunger on previous weight loss attempts and how much easier it is now it's worth the cost (at the old prices anyway) Men lose so much quicker and easier it's really very unfair!

@Zebracat Thank you I am quite agog myself! 😊

PeachSnail · 20/10/2025 07:31

Morning all 🌄

Weekly weigh-in for me... Bringing me to my 6 month point!

So... Drum roll please 🥁🥁🥁...

SW 87.65kg (193.235 lbs)
CW 72.55kg (159.945 lbs)
GW 65kg

So @wlinewbie0425thats a total of 33.29lbs lost since 22nd April (or 15.1kg in new money)

I'm sure that won't be among the biggest losses on here, but my weight loss really does mean the world to me. I feel so much healthier and so much happier in myself. Now, I can look at myself in the mirror and not feel ashamed. Plus, health has been a really strong motivator for me. I had prediabetes and high cholesterol (still working on that!) and I was concerned about the risk of Alzheimer's (my mum was obese and died of early onset Alzheimer's). I've managed to make great progress with my fitness and am running further and faster than I have in a long time. So, overall, I'm so pleased that MJ has given me the mental space to make these changes in my life. If it can ward off what I had to watch my mum go through, it'll have been worth every penny and more.

Well done to everyone else on their achievements... It's so inspiring to keep reading everyone else's updates!

So congrats @PumpKim - you may be only half way to your target, but you've made such great progress. Every loss adds up and you will get there 💪

Well done on the whoosh loss this week @slightlysmallerPoisonIvyand for hitting the 50lbs milestone. That's a really great achievement 🏆

@BeachBodyAimwell done on your 49lbs 6 month loss! Hope you had a fab time in Portugal 🏖️

@Zebracatwell done for finally making it under 87kg! Hopefully you've busted through your stall now! 🙌

@cannyvalleysorry to hear the dreaded constipation has returned. Hope you can enjoy some much needed self care and things start... ahem... moving soon! 😉

@Scouseblokecongrats on your 45lbs 6 month loss. Huge achievement! 🏆

Congrats on reaching your goal @violetmondays! That's fantastic news and it really helps inspire the rest of us 🎉🎉🎉

And congrats on officially transitioning to maintenance @AbundanceofKatherines! What a fantastic achievement 🎉♥️

Merlin23 · 20/10/2025 09:27

My official weigh in will be Friday when I hit 6 months.
But weighed this morning and at last down another pound.
After not losing for 2 weeks and feeling a bit demoralised to see a brand new number on the scales felt good this morning.
SW 202lbs 14st 6lbs
CW 144lbs 10st 4lbs
TW under 140lbs 10 stone
Loss of 58lbs 4 stone 2lbs
I'll post my 6 month total on Friday in case it changes.

Happy Monday - haveca great week!

SweetChilliGirl · 20/10/2025 11:16

It's my sixth month 'mounjoversity' today.

I have lost 45lb and am 4lb away from my target weight.

I have started to titrate down from my high of 4mg and am currently on 3.5mg. I didn't lose anything this week so may sit at 3.5mg for a few more weeks. I have enough pens to see my though until January.

StartingApril2025 · 20/10/2025 11:45

Happy Monday , busy weekend but weighed in on Saturday, total lost since I started is exactly 50lbs @wlinewbie0425 my 6month anniversary isn’t until Sunday so will see if I have another pound this week.

I am Very pleased with my progress and I am comfortably in a size 12 now in trousers , although I have so few clothes I need to get on Vinted to sell and buy. That’s the only downside for me, the price of the injections is one thing but the price of clothes is adding to my weight loss spend quite a lot!
well down on everyone’s losses and progresses, you really are all very inspiring and it’s been lovely to read the posts of the last six months , definitely assisted and supported me on this journey.
I am only 5 lbs away from my original target and what I have on my Shotsy app however ideally I would like to lower that a little by another 4/5lbs as I’m only just into the cusp of the top end of healthy bmi!
hope this week is a good one for everyone!

wlinewbie0425 · 20/10/2025 12:22

Amazing losses everyone - not been here much as a bit under the weather this week but I will get ready to start collating these ready for the end of the month 🥁

I’ve just done the maths and this week on 22nd will be my 6 month MJ anniversary.

as it stands today, I’ve lost 40lb !!!

PumpKim · 20/10/2025 20:05

Just realised it's my 6 months anniversary today, so as of today it's a loss of 33lb total for me.

I'd always thought I'd give it a year to see where I get to, so the fact I'm half way there puts me on track, as long as I can keep at it at the same rate.

slightlysmallerPoisonIvy · 20/10/2025 22:41

Hope you feel better soon @wlinewbie0425 💐

Loving all these fab 6month losses!!!

@PeachSnail @Merlin23 @SweetChilliGirl @StartingApril2025 @cannyvalley @PumpKim well done on all the excellent losses!

dozywelshbird · 21/10/2025 10:07

Amazing losses everyone 😁
Hope you feel better soon @wlinewbie0425

I've done 3 weeks now in 7.5mg and for 2/3 days after I jab I feel terrible, nauseous and very burp-y.... Urgh

Any tips 🤔

cannyvalley · 21/10/2025 13:49

NSV for today…

Im in court today (for work.. not crime) , and am swanning around in a vintage Vivian Westwood blazer that hasn’t fit me for a decade….. I think I may have got carried away and giddy with this achievement, and paired said blazer with a pink blouse that has a massive pussy cat bow. I’m almost certain I look like Willy wonka, but I can’t help but feel delighted with myself all the same

I eat lots of rennies, drink lots of water and avoid anything oily when I feel like this. I also avoid acidic things like tomato’s. Sorry you are feeling rough xx
