Do you want people to comment on your weight loss or say nothing?

So I've now lost just over a stone and it's probably not really noticeable yet, but I'd like to lose another 2/2.5 stone I think. Anyway, I absolutely love it when people comment on any weight loss...gives me a boost and encourages me. I've read posts on here where posters have said that they really dislike it when people mention it though? Also posts where people wonder why no one has mentioned their weight loss?

What do you prefer?

Aww my dd just said she was looking at old photos of us and my progress is insane. Definitely appreciated that. She's a teen so compliments are precious!

I don't want anyone to comment on it besides the people who know I'm actively trying to lose weight - but then I don't like people commenting on me generally. A vague 'you look nice' or 'you look well' is fine and neutral but I don't really like anything beyond that. I wouldn't welcome intrusive questions about weight loss any more than I would have welcomed them about weight gain. And I would never comment on someone's weight directly or ask questions.

I’ve now lost nearly 6 stones on Mounjaro but I tell most people who ask that I’ve done it by prioritising protein and cutting right back on fat and junk food which is correct. Mounjaro just levels the playing field for me by giving me stronger satiety hormones and helping with insulin resistance. If close friends and family ask I do tell them that I’m on the jab.
