Thank you .
I did the air thing and the syringe resisted and i ended up losing my 5th dose as it came out the bottom .
Will have to do better next time

Just take it slowly and be patient. But you have to be firm with the pressure when you pull back. As I say, you’re pulling that liquid back through a really tiny needle so it puts up quite a fight. That tiny needle is what creates the resistance. Slowly but steady force 👍

HappyWineDay · 24/07/2025 22:23

Nice NSV for me today. Went to the races with my DW and wore a suit which hasn’t fitted since my DD’s wedding over 5 years ago. Managed to get a tie around my fat neck too!
Delighted!

EmJ1989 · 24/07/2025 22:25

Non scale victory today, went to M&S and managed to get a bra a back size down! And even better it was in the sale 😂

I did the air thing and it did meet a lot of resistance , then i pulled back and tried too hard but there was still a lot of resistance then too , and the plunger bit came out the bottom with the liquid. Dont want to do that again .

Joining in for some moral support and perspective!

I started in June (20th June) where I took my first 2.5mg shot, had no issues and did my four 2.5mg shots with minimal SE's (mild queasy feelings) and lost just under 6lb across the month.

This is where I got foolish- I then moved to 5mg to try to improve the weight loss speed.

Did my first 5mg jab last Sat (19/7), spent last Sunday evening being violently sick with Diarrhea, the Diarrhea lasted overnight into Monday and I barely slept. I had to take 2 days off work as I felt so truly awful. I've barely managed to eat all week and really only since Weds. I awoke with Diarrhea again this morning (Fri) and I'm due to do a second jab tomorrow.

I go on holiday in just under 2 weeks and I cannot feel like this while I'm away, or even for the next 2 weeks!

I'm considering using half doses to go back to 2.5mg with 30 clicks.

Honestly not sure what to do as I just feel so absolutely wretched in this dose!

ShesRunningOutTheDoor · 25/07/2025 08:42

@44PumpLane its a no brainer. Definitely move back down to 2.5mg

UglyBastardFace · 25/07/2025 09:19

Well on a break from MJ after some tough side effects. Still been sticking to 1000 to 1100 calories and still same weight for 2 weeks. Plateau ville.
Need to do exercise I think as am so inactive.

End of this week will go back to 2.5mg. Hope I can lose the next stone on that 🙏

Agree with PP. Would go down to 2.5mg and then slowly work my way back up over weeks if need be. I'm hoping to stick to 2.5mg for my entire journey if possible again because of side effects.

FoxRedPuppy · 25/07/2025 09:33

I’ve gone back to 2.5 after disaster at 3.75!

Going up the doses won’t necessarily speed up weight loss, unless it suppresses so much you could become malnourished.

6lbs in 4 weeks is good, that is healthy, sustainable weight loss. Speedy weightloss means loss of muscle, and usually fast weight gain when you stop.

Proper long term weight loss is a marathon, with steady loss, plateaus and sometimes little gains.

Just a little note re Me360. They have locked my first scan so I can’t compare total progress unless I go premium for £4.99 a month or £30 a year. I know they need to make money but im reluctant to pay - especially as I am a tiny bit dubious. Why do they need to know your weight if they are scanning? Anyway for anyone that has scanned, consider taking screenshots unless you want to go premium.

MtKiloMounjaro · 25/07/2025 09:57

Anyone on 7.5mg? Can you share the difference (positive or negative) You've felt between the 5mg and 7.5mg?

SomethingAboutYou · 25/07/2025 10:02

Morning! Sorry to hear about the side effects. Since ordering the 5mg pen my progress on 2.5 has improved so a bit annoyed now that I have a 5mg pen for this evening, but will go for the 3.75 to see how it goes. I've finally crossed the 1st loss and entered the 14 stones for the first time since having my youngest child 🎉 W8 D7 stats:

SW: 16st (101.7kg)
CW: 14st 12.8lbs (94.7kg)
Total lost: 15.2lbs (7kg)

First micro goal is 2.8lbs away and mini goal (pre baby weight) is 8.8lbs away 💪🔥
Ar 5ft 1 I have a loooong way to get to a healthy BMI but hitting these mini goals will be a huge boost!

NSVs are coming in thick and fast now, fitting into clothes I used to love and needing a belt for my jeans. I bought a dress last year for work that I never wore as my loss stalled at 15st 2 (was calorie counting using MFP and walking and lost a stone and a half in total but it started creeping back on over winter), tried the dress yesterday and it looked great! Need to lose maybe 3-4 pounds for it not to gape a little around the belly when sitting down so will be perfect for September 🎉🎉🎉🎉

SewerOrLess · 25/07/2025 10:06

I only had SE after the first dose of 5mg and they went after 48 hours of anguish and have not returned, I'm sorry they've gone on longer but going back to 2.5 seems like a good plan.

I'm still using Me360 despite only being able to see the last 4 scans, I reckon I'll pay for premium at Target Weight as a reward and spend a month happily viewing the scans then cancel.

Someone else said this, so I've taken a video of my scans. I love @SewerOrLess's plan.

And i LOVE reading all your NSVs. I've had a couple myself, which have felt great.

I'm pleased with my weightloss, which is nicely steady with no or minimal SEs, but....
I'm feeling really sad.
I've lost very little from round my middle (my biggest/worst bit), so i don't look like I've lost the weight I've lost. If anything, I look worse having lost around legs, arms, boobs. Picture an apple with cocktail sticks stuck in it. And we go on holiday on Sunday.
And I know the fact I'm losing weight is fab. And I know that if I really wanted to look better I should have started earlier.
But I'm so sad that yet AGAIN I'm going to be the biggest, or among the biggest on the beach .
I tried on bikinis yesterday and they all look awful.
It's fine. I'll enjoy the holiday. Just a bit sad.

You need to change your mindset - you ARE so much slimmer than you were. The weight IS coming off. Think of this time as the LAST time you’ll be at this weight. Look at the positives rather than the negatives - you’ve got this. And if you want to wear a bikini then wear it with pride. I honestly get where you’re coming from … but this is YOUR holiday which you’ve worked hard for all year - so hold your head up high and go out and enjoy it. xx

Crinklecat · 25/07/2025 10:52

My visceral fat is down another notch, was 21 at the start now to 19! Still very high obviously but this is one of the main areas I’d like to improve and seems to have the slowest progress

I wear my bikini regardless of my weight, honestly no one cares. I’m also a bit sad that my boobs are shrinking quicker than my tummy but it’ll all catch up

Quay · 25/07/2025 10:56

So, the end of WK5 and I’ve lost just over 1 lb - making 13 lbs in total 🙌. So pleased. Minimal side effects apart from mild constipation. Though saying that, my daughter gave me one Toblerone truffle… within 20 mins of eating it I had to make a super quick dash to the loo and only just got there in time!😱 Ended up having to give the toilet a very deep clean! (sorry TMI). Won’t be eating those again!
Have just taken the first full dose from my 5mg pen and am hoping side effects are minimal 🤞🤞. Will see how I go and if troublesome then will switch to 3.75mg for my next dose.

SW 12st 1 lb
CW 11st 2 lbs

SomethingAboutYou · 25/07/2025 10:58

Every 4 weeks I take measurements as I can't always see the changes. I didn't think my thighs and knees are losing any weight but this morning's measurements (I'm at 8 weeks post 1st jab) shows my thighs have gone down 4inches each and even my knees have gone down 2 inches each! I would have said they've not changed at all!! I know that won't help with your upcoming holiday but worth measuring for the future @RatherTardy Hope you manage to enjoy that bikini and holiday x

RatherTardy · 25/07/2025 12:00

Thanks, all.
I know youre all right.

You've just .are me tear upa little
Thank you x

I missed my 5mg pen delivery this morning as I was on a work call and had forgotten to turn my phone ringer on, I am SO annoyed with myself! And the postman came 10 minutes after DH had left so I’m feeling very unlucky. They should redeliver tomorrow but the being out of the fridge for another 24 hours is stressing me out. Especially as the pen was £60 more than my last one. 😥

I started the day well, another pound off so I finally hit 1 stone loss after 8 weeks.

But it’s going to feel a long time until the post gets delivered tomorrow…

Crinklecat · 25/07/2025 12:50

Has anyone used online clinic? can get 7.5mg for £123.49 unless anyone has seen it cheaper elsewhere?

MtKiloMounjaro · 25/07/2025 09:57

I’ve done one week of 7.5. I’m having to remind myself to eat the suppression for me is super strong I’m also not able to finish a meal. first few days I was super tired but that has got better not really any other changes. I feel I’ve been really lucky with SE fingers crossed it stays that way

Did you notice loads more hunger?

Yeah 5 was ok but 7.5 is a lot stronger for me I think this may be a level I stay on a bit longer but will see it’s only been jab 1 but happy with it.
