So 5 weeks ago i started tirezapade, can't spell it, i was at 0.2ml the injections. And i was fine with it, but by week 4 i wasn't losing any weight, so last Friday i was told to try 0.25ml, all was fine until yesterday, i woke up with the runs and eggy burps, all day!! I bought some rennies and eggy burps.. so far, has gone, but today i woke up still having the runs and now belly ache.
I'm meant to be start the 2.5mg pens on Friday, but if this carries on i don't know what to do😭 i have my sister in laws wedding in August and i been trying to lose weight before starting this, and i couldn't lose anything, but with this weight loss i've lost a stone. I really want to stick with it to lose this weight once and for all, but at the moment i'm having doubts. It doesn't help because i have 3 kids so staying in the bathroom is a no go.
Has anyone been like this, and the side effects go away? And does anyone know how long its going to go on for?

Why was it a long story getting it from a registered pharmacy?

I am assuming because OP is not eligible? Hence resorting to dodgy unknown meds from a 'friend' who in turn is 'friends' with a 'pharmacist'?

OP, you are not 'doing' the Mounjaro pen on Friday. Because you have not gone through the proper channels. You are planning on taking something from a pen labelled as Mounjaro.
Please, don't!

doodleschnoodle · 26/05/2025 11:25

This is incredibly unsafe. You’ve got no idea what’s actually in there. Get a proper prescription for you from a pharmacy and ask them for guidance. You have kids, OP, wise up and stop injecting stuff you’ve got from a mate.

WeAllHaveWings · 26/05/2025 11:43

@CheekyWolf have you posted about this before?

If not, the reply is similar to someone who did. The "friend" who provided you with this medication didn't get it from a pharmacist. You know no pharmacist would risk their business and registration selling illegal medications. They are not your "friend" as they are taking advantage of your desperation and providing you with illegal medication and you do not know what it is that bottle, how it has been stored and it can cause you significant harm.

This isn't like getting a dodgy firestick down the pub, that stuff could make you seriously ill.

You have children for goodness sake. Don't take risks like this.

If you want to buy a Mounjaro pen buy it from a safe registered pharmacy on the monj.co.uk list. If you are not eligible for the medication (BMI > 30, or BMI > 27 with weight related health conditions), going for fake medication is not the answer.

I buy it from a friend who gets it from a pharmacist. I'm doing the mounjaro pens on Friday.
I tried going through actual pharmacists but that's a long story. And with my doctor i'm on a waiting list. I have looked the stuff up, and there is side effects. The bottle i got, says tirezapade on the bottle and the box with a barcode on both

You need to go to the pharmacy.

You have injected some unknown substance, your 'friend' needs to be locked up.

How much do you weigh and how tall are you?

PickleSarnie · 26/05/2025 12:43

The box has a barcode on it? Oh well, it must be legit in that case. 🙄🤔

I presume the "long story" as to why you didn't get it from an actual registered pharmacist is because you're not eligible for it? Or you wanted to save a few quid.

It's utterly batshit crazy to not only buy prescription medication "off a mate" but then to inject it into yourself. You have kids ffs. You owe it to them to not to do ridiculously ill considered, potentially dangerous stuff like this.

CatsorDogsrule · 26/05/2025 12:48

@CheekyWolf I hope you pay attention to everyone on here. What you are doing is very dangerous.

What your friend and "pharmacist" are doing is illegal. (I don't believe that there is a pharmacist involved in this transaction chain.)

You have 3 children, please consider what you are doing to them and risking them losing - YOU! It is not just foolish. You are injecting an illegal, unknown substance from an unknown source into your body because it has a label on it.

You are sticking your head in the sand because it happened to help you lose some weight - probably by making you ill. What happens with the next batch? What will be in it, will it be safe? No-one knows.

Please wake up.

Mounjaro is amazing for many people, but it needs to be legitimate and prescribed. What is the long story? Were you rejected by a pharmacy like MedExpress, but could be accepted by a smaller pharmacy that looks at the individual?

PinkArt · 26/05/2025 14:06

Best case your friend of a a friend has given you mounjaro and you've just had some rough but listed and therefore expected side effects.
Worst case is unknown because that bottle of liquid could be anything - insulin, water, mounjaro at a higher dose, vodka, poison. You have no idea what you've been injecting.
It sounds like you aren't eligible to get mounjaro via legit prescribers - presumably because you aren't obese, can't afford it or have other health issues that it could effect - doesn't that tell you something about the risk of what you're doing?

GiveMeWordGames · 26/05/2025 16:38

This is an incredibly stupid and dangerous thing to be doing. Please stop. You are literally injecting a completely unknown substance into your body.

Histoscientist · 26/05/2025 17:54

Do you not realise that the stone weight loss has been from being very ill with side effects from an illegal unknown substance?
I really hope you don't end up being one of the statistics we see on the news..so many people (almost) died from taking illegal counterfeit weight loss injections. There are some with lasting organ damage/sepsis from it too. Think of your children, bin it and don't touch it again. I think your sister in law would prefer you to be at her wedding in person than as a memorial.

SevernWonders · 27/05/2025 16:08

What they all said up there. OP what you are doing is really dangerous. Please get the medication from a legitimate pharmacy.
