So 5 weeks ago i started tirezapade, can't spell it, i was at 0.2ml the injections. And i was fine with it, but by week 4 i wasn't losing any weight, so last Friday i was told to try 0.25ml, all was fine until yesterday, i woke up with the runs and eggy burps, all day!! I bought some rennies and eggy burps.. so far, has gone, but today i woke up still having the runs and now belly ache.
I'm meant to be start the 2.5mg pens on Friday, but if this carries on i don't know what to do😭 i have my sister in laws wedding in August and i been trying to lose weight before starting this, and i couldn't lose anything, but with this weight loss i've lost a stone. I really want to stick with it to lose this weight once and for all, but at the moment i'm having doubts. It doesn't help because i have 3 kids so staying in the bathroom is a no go.
Has anyone been like this, and the side effects go away? And does anyone know how long its going to go on for?

Were you taking 0.2ml out of a 2.5mg pen for the last 4 weeks?

CatsorDogsrule · 26/05/2025 08:07

What country are you in? If the UK, it doesn't sound like you are using legitimate medication, so the only advice is to STOP. You do not know what you are injecting into your body.

Go through a legitimate pharmacy to be assessed for and prescribed Mounjaro. Monj.co.uk lists prices for legitimate pharmacies.

CheekyWolf · 26/05/2025 08:09

No i had a bottle of liquid, that i would insert the needle and get 0.2ml out of. Hopefully that makes sense, and because i wasn't losing weight on the 4th week, i was told to go to 0.25ml
This coming Friday i will be on 2.5mg but the pen.
Hope this makes sense

What you are using is illegal.in the UK. You do not know what it is in the bottle. Please stop taking it, it is making you ill.

CatsorDogsrule · 26/05/2025 08:14

The pen that they will give you will not be legitimate either. It will probably be insulin relabelled as Mounjaro. Do not give these people your money. What they are selling you is not the real medication and could kill you.

Koazy · 26/05/2025 08:14

Where on earth did you buy that from?! Bin it and get a proper consultation with a registered prescriber. Good grief.

RamsayBoltonsConscience · 26/05/2025 08:17

Where the hell did you get a bottle of liquid from? The medication has a shelf life of 30 days once opened so what you have (whatever it is) also seems to be out of date! As PP have said, stop taking this clearly illegal medication. If you want to take weight loss injections register with a proper pharmacy and buy it properly with professionals who can give you medical advice!

Time4changeagain · 26/05/2025 08:18

Got to agree with @CatsorDogsrule
How do you know what you are injecting?
That was why I asked if you got the 0.2ml from a 2.5mg pen.
Buy ONLY from a legitimate pharmacy.
You should seek medical advice immediately, Tell them what you “think” you have injected.

Time4changeagain · 26/05/2025 08:21

The person who sold you it needs reporting ASAP. They could kill someone!!

popdepop · 26/05/2025 08:24

Who told you? Did the bottle of liquid not ring alarm bells with you? Madness, stop taking immediately

raspberrymeringue · 26/05/2025 08:32

Mounjaro or Zebound the brand name for Tirzepatide, depending upon where you are, is only prescribed in pre-filled injectable pens. You don’t draw it out of a bottle. No wonder you are ill. You’ve been given a fake. It could be anything. Where on earth are you getting it from? Please do yourself a favour and stop taking it immediately. I’d call 111 as well if you are in the UK.

AmythestBangle · 26/05/2025 08:52

Whatever you took before, it wasn't MJ. Where did you get it from?

Mounraine · 26/05/2025 09:21

This is quite unsettling. I hope you come back OP and let us know what's happening.

CheekyWolf · 26/05/2025 10:47

I buy it from a friend who gets it from a pharmacist. I'm doing the mounjaro pens on Friday.
I tried going through actual pharmacists but that's a long story. And with my doctor i'm on a waiting list. I have looked the stuff up, and there is side effects. The bottle i got, says tirezapade on the bottle and the box with a barcode on both

lissie123 · 26/05/2025 10:50

FGS. What are you doing? Stop taking this medication from the friend and get properly assessed by a registered pharmacist.

Mounraine · 26/05/2025 10:53

Oh heck OP, this sounds very unsafe for you. Your friend really shouldn't be doing this.

Bigfatsunandclouds · 26/05/2025 10:58

Oh OP please don't take the medicine anymore and don't take the pen either unless it's been prescribed directly to you. I'm sure your friend wouldn't knowingly harm you but you have no idea what this is.

Can you not get it from the online pharmacies? It's a really easy process.

User27563 · 26/05/2025 11:00

Surely people can't be this stupid.
Have you not read the stories in the news about black market suppliers?
It's not hard to get it from a proper online pharmacy if you are eligible.

popdepop · 26/05/2025 11:02

Is the long story because you don't qualify for it? how do you know the friend got it from a pharmacy. I saw a documentary recently that compared a genuine and counterfeit pen. You could hardly tell the difference at all, barcodes the lot.
You would be foolish to continue and I would very wary of the 'friendship'

MathsMagpie · 26/05/2025 11:03
Biscuit
AmythestBangle · 26/05/2025 11:04

You cannot be taking prescription medication that has not been prescribed for you. And, if you are in the UK and it is not in the form of a pen, then it could literally be anything. Having a barcode means nothing. When you say you are due to start a pen, do you mean you have had the medication prescribed for you now? If not, do not take it.

Do you fall within the criteria for MJ? If so, getting an online consultation and prescription is absolute simple and quick. I use MyBMI, which is great, but there are tons of other providers.

AmythestBangle · 26/05/2025 11:06

And when you say that you were "told" to take 0.2 or 0.25ml of your "bottle of liquid", who told you that? Because 0.2ml of the lowest concentration of MJ (2.5mg per 0.6ml) would be in the region of 0.8mg, so a very tiny dose and unlikely to do anything if it really was MJ (which it was not).

TheNinthLock · 26/05/2025 11:10

Stop taking whatever you are taking.
Go through the proper channels.
This is utter madness!

AmythestBangle · 26/05/2025 11:14

Are you a person who would normally take illegal drugs? Because that is what you are doing.

HansHolbein · 26/05/2025 11:22

Why was it a long story getting it from a registered pharmacy?
