Up to date - Best suppliers for Maintenance

Hi there
I'm after recent advice on maintenance suppliers as I think I need to swap.

Current BMI is 28. (Started at 35 8 months ago).

I've been with Zava the whole time and been lucky with people using my code so never paid full price. I've got about 2 vouchers left I think.

I'm hoping to maintain around 26/27.

I'm a life long binge eater/ yo yo dieter and am realistic about the prospect of me being able to maintain long time on my own.

I'd like a supplier where I could try stopping but be able to re-start without having to wait until my BMI hits 30 again.

Previously I remember Cloud where sounding good and IQ I think?

Last I heard Zava weren't offering maintenance.

@0987654321q what one off payment of £130? I haven’t seen anything about that (mind you, I have muted their fb group and their maintenance WhatsApp for obvious reasons…) so may be a bit out of the loop.

I'm so confused by this one off maintenance payment or subscription for Oushk. I'm with them and I just pay for the pens. No upfront payment or subscription required.

Are you specifically on a maintenance plan?

Yes, I'm on Conti. But all that means is they email your 3 codes to use for your next 3 pens which gives you 15% off and free delivery. No upfront payments or subscription.

@0987654321q There are no one off payments of £130, where have you got that idea from? You either pay £15 mo they to be kept “on their books” or essentially get a 15% discount with free postage for maintenance pens. The link you shared says nothing about one off payments of £130.

That's the price of the pen. You only pay when you order the pen, on taper and conti there is no subscription

I'm switching to Pharmulous for maintenance. On Reddit there's a few posts about them and a video from their prescriber who is on a maintenance dose. They support all types of maintenance and no monthly fee.

This sounds good.

I'm heading towards BMI of 20 / 21. Do you know if they allow maintenance at this BMI? (I heard medexpress won't allow you to drop below 24.5?)

Thanks :)

Thank you for flagging that includes the pen!

I didn't say it was a subscription. I said it was a once off. Understand it now.

@MJSavesTheDay as far as I know, yes! Best thing to do is to email and ask. Maybe organise a call with one of the prescribers to discuss your plans?

Mumconnect · 04/04/2025 16:53

Try swift doctor too, they price match to medicine marketplace which are often cheapest, you can WhatsApp them, they charge if you need a maintenance consultation but then you don't have to pay to stay on their books. https://swift-doctor.com/glp-1-maintenance-plans/

"For a tailored approach, book a video consultation with a SwiftDoctor clinician for just £30 and this will be deducted from your first pen order."

Thanks everyone

I like the sound of Swift - they say if you want to try stopping you have the option to restart within 12 months. That's the sort of flexibility I was after.

I will also enquire with Pharmulous

Pharmalous sounds good.
Can anyone tell me what postal service Pharmalous used and if there's any choice? I like RM.

liquoriceallsortfamily · 04/04/2025 22:28

How much is it for 15mg on Conti with Oushk please? X

Just had my first delivery from Pharmulous. They used RM24, no choice over delivery day.

Swift looks good! I can see they don’t price match their higher doses at the moment due to the shortage, but their standard pricing also looks really reasonable!

Yeah I think that's fair enough and hopefully the shortage is temporary.

0987654321q · 05/04/2025 08:38

Does Swift use RM?

85reasons · 05/04/2025 09:29

I think that's what Oushk still have over others is being able to choose delivery date and offering DPD which is much better (for me anyway). My last order was with Medicine Marketplace and I had no idea when it was going to arrive.

Dpd requires a code whereas RM just leaves the parcel. I dont care about choosing the delivery date. The choice is good for sure though.

Oushk have been having a right nightmare with DPD not scanning their parcels in.

@Choirgirl699 if you email Pharmulous as soon as you order, you can specify a delivery date. Otherwise it’s next day if ordered before 2pm. I tend to order on a Sunday evening and it’s delivered Tuesday.
