Ok, so I’m not on WLi so I shouldn’t be lurking here, but I read this forum because it’s my job to be informed about women and what we are told.
I fully support people losing weight on WLi but I’m quite shocked at what some of you are eating. That makes me think that you’ve been given these injections, but no nutrition and exercise support to back it up? If not, why not? If you haven’t I think you need to go and demand it because surely that massive a change in your system needs serious nutritional support.
Do they encourage WLi along with a Slimming group as the latter would support healthy choices and nutrition.
So, for example. I’ve recently lost 2 stone with a household name slimming club. This is what I ate yesterday, a usual day, and I’m still losing weight;
Porridge with skim milk, blueberries and a banana
3 coffees with low fat milk
Chicken with lettuce, toms, roast peppers, kimchi, roast sweet potato
Miso soup
lentil crisps
cherries
snack: skyr and blueberries
lentil stew with leeks, carrots, garlic and a bit of chorizo
Strawberries covered in 10g melted dark chocolate
Not 100% healthy but I’m using up my unhealthy bits
My point is, you’ve got to eat. It seems to me they want people to lose weight, and they are happily handing out the injections, but they aren’t giving some people the support re fuelling their body.
You can eat yourself slim. You just need to swap things out for healthier items. I’m absolutely not saying don’t use the WLI, I’m just shocked at what some of you are eating when your body is going through such upheaval.
