Thanks for the kind words ☺️☺️ it truly was really nice last night when I looked at the weather for today that I wasn’t suddenly filled with a sudden dread of what will I wear that I won’t be boiling in but will cover my body. A feeling a will keep reminding myself of whilst trying to make good decisions during maintenance.

hugs and Flowers to all those that have challenges with neurodivergent children. As I have spoken about before my son has adhd and is on the waiting list for an autism assessment. I really worry what the next year will look like starting high school and beyond but only time will tell. It’s certainly not an easy road! Luckily I have a great mum who helps me lots and really ‘understands’ which really helps when he’s having a particularly challenging day.

Blondeshavemorefun · 05/04/2025 19:57

Ah you aren’t together @Weepixie. I thought you. meant he worked away - but yes he does provide for his dc unlike my ex. Tho he does love dd

@owlyboo you look fab. Lovely colour

@20bloodypounds I’ve said the same thing before. Eat all on plate. Not leave any as rude. Stuff another mouthful in etx

now I’m full. As in last Sundays breakie and what I ate previous visits to there

as I was an older mum - almost 44 - I am forever grateful that dd has no issues - if she had we would have dealt with them as parents do as no choice but as a couple of my friends/family kids have autism / adhd - disprexia - other spectrum stuff plus Down syndrome to my friend who was 31 I think - do I see their struggles 💖

Love the dungarees!

we went to slim chickens today for lunch, I had a salad which was really nice.

wore another pair of size 10 jeans, though I am still more a 12 and I am now wearing my wedding rings again!

going to the gym tomorrow for a tour, very nervous and can see me backing out.

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/04/2025 10:57

Sunny Sunday. Have a roast dinner. Be interesting how much I eat as last sun struggled to eat my md breakie yet previous years scoffed it all and more

but if I’m full I do stop

Hi everyone, hope you’ve all got a bit of sunshine today. I ended up reverting to being a lurker snd less of a poster 🙈 lots of fabulous progress and great to see all the photos and hear of the losses and the perseverance! I’ve started to accept the slower rate of losses now and just at a pound a week and last week was slightly less than that. However have just got under another pound this week which takes me to a 5 stone loss. So from 14 st 10lb, now 9st 10lb this weekend and BMI 26.6 I think. So still a bit to go but so pleased to be where I am now.
discovered that the family chemist were out of stock of the 15mg last night when I went to reorder so have gone back to another pharmacy I’ve used before so hoping I get approved. Not sure why some pharmacies have stock issues but not all of them.

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/04/2025 16:27

A lb a week is still good @Slimhopes tho Kwym and others often lose 3/4

but 5st. Yah !! Well done

Another weekend survived. I think weekend eating will be my biggest challenge after mj.

what supplements are people taking? Is there anything people would recommend? My hair has got a lot thinner, I need to find something to help with that. I’m trying iron and biotin.

Timetochange24 · 06/04/2025 22:35

I mix collagen in my morning cuppa. The jury's out over whether it makes a difference at all though. My hair's ok hut nails are awful. I've just brought some protein powder too as finding it difficult to include enough while eating less. Tbh, it's difficult to get a completely balanced diet while eating a lot less. I'm thinking of this as a short term dip (although eating as well as I can) and will focus on building in some really nutritious habits once I reach my target weight and increase calories.

Timetochange24 · 06/04/2025 22:37

Well done @Slimhopes 5 Stone is amazing!

Blondeshavemorefun · 07/04/2025 10:12

I don’t take anything @FurForksSake

I'm also done with 7.5 and my next pen is 10. But I shall syringe the remaining bonus dose and hopefully that will equate to 10mg as been careful with the priming .
Starting to feel the snacky behaviour creaping in so it's time to move up.. looking forward to seeing how 10mg feels.. hope its good!

Blondeshavemorefun · 07/04/2025 19:45

It should be. I got .2 more out of mine so 1/3 extra

That’s a fabulous difference! Well done!!

i bet that feels amazing.

when i went to put on some size 10 petite trousers i thought they were folded in half the waist looked so small. I might go and find something of my old trousers for comparison!

my weight loss has started again, phew! Over the month I’ve lost 8lbs even though it feels like I’ve been stuck. Shows I have to just keep going.

we are going to wales on holiday this year, I want to be nice and fit to do canyoning and kayaking and some good long walks. Usually I just sit and wait for the family instead of joining in.

Slimhopes · 07/04/2025 20:31

That’s a brilliant comparison with those vests @Blondeshavemorefun !! I’m also picking up smaller clothes and being surprised when they fit, it’s an amazing feeling 😃

owlyboo · 07/04/2025 20:33

great NSV @Blondeshavemorefun

I also have a NSV I’ve brought the kids to Cornwall for the week and suddenly realised at 9pm last night I’d need to bring a swimsuit and after trying all mine on they literally hung off me so I’ve had to borrow one from my 14 yo!

morbidcuriosity · 07/04/2025 20:34

@Blondeshavemorefunomg!wow.. I've also just got a pair of shorts in 34 waist, they look so small but fit, just.. I'll do a pic comparison tomorrow and post..
My previous shorts were a 44..

I have no clothes to wear!! . Haha..

Blondeshavemorefun · 07/04/2025 20:40

Thanks @FurForksSake @Slimhopes @owlyboo @morbidcuriosity

as you know i seem to have difficulty in seeing they I am slimmer

obv I know I’ve lost weight. Over 5s but it’s still the size of trousers that bug me due to hips /thighs that I think I find it hard

when (if) I get into a 12 then will be happy and hopefully releise that difference. I see it on other people. Just struggle with me

I guess I will be spending money on summer stuff for holiday

fab NSV @owlyboo

Thought I would take a pic now.. my new 34 are a tad tight but wearable.. I didn't want to get 36 inch and have to buy more in a month.. I will wear them and stretch them haha.

I tend to wear mens clothes over womens clothes, just the way I am..

weaselyeyes · 07/04/2025 21:37

Ooh, big differences there, @morbidcuriosity and @Blondeshavemorefun! Funny how clothes seem to make it obvious.

I finally bought a second bra that fitted (another 34C as opposed to a 40DD). As I was flicking through the ones on the rack in Sainsbury's (annoyingly the top rack and I am very short!), they had the bigger ones at the front and I had to go all the way to the back where I reached some in my size, but they were so tiny in comparison I couldn't believe these were the ones for me. They looked like training bras! I've got one or two pairs of trousers that are a 12 and a couple that are a 10 (very old ones...) and when I put them on it feels like it must be a trick as I can't believe I'm the same size as other people who are a 10. I mean, ok so I am much flabbier and squishier than them, but objectively we can fit the same trousers!

Motnight · 08/04/2025 07:29

Some fantastic NSVs! Well done everyone. I've lost another lb, happy with that. Forgot to inject yesterday, so I think that the food suppression on 12.5 is currently working for me! Happy Tuesday everyone 😊

FurForksSake · 08/04/2025 13:00

9st13! Cannot believe I am in single figures. 14st starting weight.

today I took my kids swimming, I put on a swimsuit, I played, I went down the flumes, we played in the waves. I properly joined in for nearly two hours. I definitely wouldn’t have done that before.
