How often do you weigh?

Just out of curiosity- do you weigh daily/weekly/monthly?

I'm considering changing to monthly as I'm a slow loser and find the scales so disheartening when weighing weekly and not losing. I'm on MJ week 5. I know lots of people weigh daily and take the average for the week.

I used to think daily weighing was a bad idea and a bit obsessive, but if you can be okay with fluctuations then it's useful.
Weighing weekly can sometimes not show a loss even if there is one, and that can mess your head up.
Ideally it'd be monthly as that would show it better but it's hard to wait that long.
So I do it daily now and observe the ups and downs and feel okay with it, but see the overall downward trajectory

Does anyone else find it weird that their weight stays stable for a couple of weeks and then drops by a pound or so? I weigh myself most days but don't worry if it goes up slightly.

This is perfectly normal from what I gather. My weight stayed the same for two weeks then I dropped 3lbs. Happens like that frequently for me.

I weigh monthly (well usually every 4 weeks ish).

I used to weigh myself much more frequently but it's so stressful. On past diets before mj it also resulted in me giving up sometimes because if I'd put on weight or not lost I'd get so disheartened.

Honestly, weighing myself no more than every 4 weeks has been a game changer. I always see losses on the scale without fail. Some quite big! And I don't ever have to worry that the scales will show I've gone up or not moved.

I know lots of people weigh daily or weekly, but for me that is just way too stressful. My body weight fluctuates with pms, fluid retention, lack of sleep, constipation/diarrhea etc.. etc.. and I can't handle seeing my weight stay still or go up when I feel I've worked hard and am doing everything right!!

I'm a big fan of monthly weigh ins! I've never been disappointed and it's a great motivator to see the scales going down month on month!

I weigh daily and record the first weight (on the off chance I weight again 🤣☠️). My body looses a big enough, puts some on then then loose xx
