My amazing auggies ladies 💖 - another thread and heading for 6mths in !!!

Be proud of us all.

We conquered our first Christmas and many of us sts or lost. Which is a first.

Those who gained it was 1-2lbs (minus the lady who ate her family and gained 18lbs) 😂😂 and the gain has come off

So to a new 2025 - some are getting near their goal and thinking about maintenance

Some still have a way to go to get to their happy weight

Some are on the highest dose of 15

Some are 5 and below

Everyone welcome

Some fab losses today ladies! Hoping to join you all tomorrow. @Azuresky68 Would you try going up to 1100 for a couple of days? Like some others have said it could jump your system a bit? I typically eat around 1000-1400cals a day, lower on the first couple of days after jab.

I realised today I’d forgotten to order my next pen. Gone for ten again. I’m with med express though so I typically order Thursday Night/Friday morning and it’s dispatched for Saturday delivery. It’s been approved so I’m hoping it gets dispatched for Monday delivery because that’s the only day anyone will be in the house 🫣 I have my bonus dose to use this week thankfully!

I’m out for drinks tomorrow night and I’d usually do my jab in the evening, so trying to decide whether to go for tomorrow afternoon or Sunday morning 🤔

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/01/2025 17:54

owlyboo · 17/01/2025 20:52

@Blondeshavemorefun I went for a hike on Wednesday with a friend and we were chatting and ramped through the inclines. My legs are still in bits I feel your pain!!!

Motnight · 17/01/2025 21:57

I ate a bag of Haribo earlier. No idea why. I went to the shop and bought it. I used to eat three bags a week. Since starting MJ this is my second bag. Feel shit. Stomach cramps. Feeling completely wiped out and don't think that I even got the temporary sugar hit that I used to get. Couldn't face the lovely food my DH prepared for dinner. So a waste of a Friday night and good food 🤔. Very frustrated with myself.

And when I bought the sweets the assistant in the corner store said that she hadn't seen me for ages as I always bought them from the same place and I still bought them and ate them.

owlyboo · 17/01/2025 21:59

Oh no @Motnight we all have blips don't beat yourself up! Hope you feel better soon!

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/01/2025 22:42

I would love a bath. But would worry I can’t push myself out again.

but I know from previous baths I lost weight as R.E.M. doing a NSV saying my thighs and hips don’t touch the sides anymore

@owlyboo honestly I waddled to school. The mums on my Fb who has seen my post saying I was doing boot camp all laughed and said I looked funny but well done

hope your legs feel better soon

aww @Motnightso weird a few sweets do this to you

can you have dinner Tom reheated

OP posts:
owlyboo · 17/01/2025 23:06

😂😂 @Blondeshavemorefun I have also been waddling 😂

Weepixie · 18/01/2025 04:34

Due to having a rotator cuff injury at one time I used to get on to all fours in the bath and get out that way. It was easy that way.

Theresacatinmykitchenwhatamigonnado · 18/01/2025 05:18

Morning all, posting before going back to read the new thread. After advice if anyone has any... Did my 5th 10mg jab last weekend and dear god I have been so ill with D&V this week. Obviously, it may just be ill rather than MJ but (apologies) throwing up undigested food is really grim. Tempted to count clicks and do 7.5 today just in case - is there any point or should I just do the 10? Will weigh but not record as false result today - have lost 7lb this week as can't keep anything down.
People have started doing the "😲 you've lost so much!" type comments. I really haven't, much less than some on here. I need to get to 159lbs to be at the very top of healthy BMI and that's still over a stone away (and 11'5 is hardly waif like). I think my face is looking a lot less puffy which is giving the illusion of slim.
Right off to catch up on all the August adventures!
(Makelikeatree on a name change and monthly delurk.)

Weepixie · 18/01/2025 05:33

@Theresacatinmykitchenwhatamigonnado I would go back to 7.5 or perhaps even 8. In fact it’s what Ive just done after having a horrendous two week reaction to the 10. I took my first dose and felt floored by it but I thought oh there’s loads of bugs around and that’s probably what I have. Then I took the second dose and bang! I felt so ill again and didn’t leave my bedroom for a week except for a few times I’d go downstairs and sit in the tv room. My meals were brought up to me on a tray. Not that I ate much and I even missed a family wedding because I knew id fall asleep at the table. If I never see a dose of 10 again I’ll be happy and thankfully as the days go by I’m feeling much better now that its 9 days since I took the second dose.

I hope you feel better soon. And just to let you know there’s a thread on side effects and 10 seems to be where people hit problems even when there’s been none before.

💐

Hi August starters! Glad there’s a new thread for us

I reached a healthy BMI a few months ago! I still have 5kg left to shift but it is definitely the most stubborn. I was hoping I would have finished by now lol how naive I was!

MJ has become such a normal part of life that I missed an injection recently. I should be on injection 24 but took my last one ~10 days late. It was fine, I felt MJ was still decently in my system and I didn’t gain (just maintained)

I don’t think I’m going to be able to go on a maintenance plan at this rate as I have always used MedExpress and am fast approaching their total cut off. I haven’t found an alternative provider yet. I ended up ordering some extra pens and have a contingency plan to titrate down in case I can’t order any more.

Azuresky68 · 18/01/2025 08:07

@eeeeeeeeewell done and lovely to hear from you! Can I ask what dose you are taking now? If you are in your healthy BMI do you really need to lose anymore? Have you contacted Oushk for maintenance? They look at patients on a case by case basis. I am sure that if you have before and after photos they will understand you are a genuine case. I have 5 pounds to get to my personal goal, which is 4 pounds more than the top of my healthy BMI. It's taken me 2 months to lose 2 pounds but I had 3 weeks holiday over Christmas and NY when I stayed the same. I hope it doesn't take me another 5 months to lose the 5vpounds I want to lose!!

JoyousSwan · 18/01/2025 08:30

Thank you @Blondeshavemorefun for making the new thread.

I'm not sure about a goal weight yet. BMI wise I'm just over 5ft but when I've been near my ideal BMI before I couldn't maintain it and had all the "too thin" comments. That was also in my late 20s! I'm now 43.

I think I'm aiming for somewhere in the 11s...currently in the 15s and started near the top of the 18s so still got a way to go. I've had a few more "Have you lost weight?" comments this week from different people at work so it must be starting to show. I'm still wearing the same clothes but they do fit and feel better.

Love reading everyone's posts and also find it fascinating how differently we all respond to the doses.

Have a great weekend everyone 😀

SilverSprings510 · 18/01/2025 08:33

Morning all! I’m joining the -3lbs off club this week 🙌🏼 taking me down to -4st7lb/-63lbs/-28.6kg overall.

Weigh ins: -7, -5, -3, -2, -5, -5, -1, -3, -1, -4, -1, -4, -2, -5, -0, -2, -1, -2, -3, -2, -1, -3 ✨

Theresacatinmykitchenwhatamigonnado · 18/01/2025 08:36

@Weepixie thank you so much for your advice. I'm sorry you felt so rotten too, it's been such an awful week. I will do 7.5 (which I'd been fine on, just vvv slow losses). Thank you Flowers.

4pink1blue · 18/01/2025 09:29

Wow! Fab losses this week ladies xx I lost 2.5lbs so 3lbs to go for my next mini target of 5 and a half stone.

SW 19st
CW 13st 10lbs

Am finally going up to 10mg with next pen I think. I've done 3 x 7.5 but I'm noticing little bad habits creeping back like an odd biscuit or chocolate here and there or picking at kids leftovers. That's how I got in this state so time to nip it in the bud!

morbidcuriosity · 18/01/2025 09:55

So I knew the importance of water intake.. and have been aiming for 2 litres a day, sometimes more.. I don't drink tea or coffee so water is my go to..
Now when I'm off work at home I have not been drinking enough and I've realised it effects my toilet habits.
(TMI maybe) but my 💩 have been normal but when I drink less I'm finding I could easily go back to constipated..

So lesson learnt , water water water.. drink drink drink..

If you can show your history of using MJ then you can switch to Oushk for maintenance. They have a specific Facebook page for maintenance and support long term use.

Blondeshavemorefun · 18/01/2025 10:14

@eeeeeeeee indeed med express don’t

iq cloud and oushk do maintenance and seem good

but fab at healthy bmi and Hope the last 10lbs go soon

guessing @Azuresky68 that @eeeeeeeeeis top end so 24.5 etc and want wriggle room of 22/23

@JoyousSwan great people have started to notice - I still have a way to go so don’t worry

@SilverSprings510yah. Well done. Lots of us did 3lbs this week. Weird

@4pink1blue amazing you have lost almost 5.5stone

@morbidcuriosity water def helps 💩

OP posts:
owlyboo · 18/01/2025 10:21

@eeeeeeeee well done and nice to see you pop up again!

@Theresacatinmykitchenwhatamigonnado it's a tricky one. I would think it's unlikely that you wouldn't have side effects until jab 4 so more likely to be illness but could click down just in case.

@JoyousSwan I think goal weight is really personal to each individual isn't it! It's where you feel best. Well done for the weight loss so far!

Well done @SilverSprings510 @4pink1blue

So I weighed and I guessed right after last weeks mammoth 5lbs I have STS this week 🙄 it's fine. I know these last few pounds are going to take a while so I'll keep plodding on!
