My amazing auggies ladies 💖 - another thread and heading for 6mths in !!!

Be proud of us all.

We conquered our first Christmas and many of us sts or lost. Which is a first.

Those who gained it was 1-2lbs (minus the lady who ate her family and gained 18lbs) 😂😂 and the gain has come off

So to a new 2025 - some are getting near their goal and thinking about maintenance

Some still have a way to go to get to their happy weight

Some are on the highest dose of 15

Some are 5 and below

Everyone welcome

Not sure if anyone else is with Cloud pharmacy?

Just had an email saying not to worry about the changes (stricter regulations etc) as I (presumably existing customers) won't be affected. Nor are they increasing their prices to deal with the new stuff, they will swallow the cost.

👍

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/02/2025 21:08

I don’t have slim legs @NippyNinjaCrab

i have ok legs from knee to feet but above knee I have thunder thighs - child bearing hips and mummy tummy

as need to find a maintenance chemist

@Weepixie I had similar ovarian cyst when I was pregnant with dc1. Dc1 then had cancerous ovarian cyst when they were in their early 20's. Gosh, I hope and pray for my dgd, that she's not got the same genes.

My SIL had breast cancer (thankfully all OK now) but after a mastectomy and reconstruction she has the perkiest breasts ever. She's 60 and they're like a 20 year old! My nipples are creeping towards my waist!

@MrsHerbs79 you are not cheating. You have still had to do the work.

@Azuresky68 well done you. Bit by bit and little by little we are changing how we eat and how we respond emotionally. MJ is truly a lifechanger in helping us to do this.

I've ordered another Oushk pen (5mg - light weight!) hoping that the new regs will all be OK.

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/02/2025 23:13

I’ve just applied for oushk 12.5. Had to do the usual body pic and weight and id

be so much easier if all the suppliers just did the same price and pick who you prefer

was going to do cloud but £30 off oushk so ……

let’s see how long takes to approve me

their postage is costly 🙀🙀

but least will be with them if /when need maintenance

iq hasn’t sent me any codes at all - think @weaselyeyesyou said they do ?

let’s hope oushk do send discounts after this one

at £161 and another possible 3 more pens after this that’s. A big cost

OP posts:
morbidcuriosity · 06/02/2025 23:24

I ordered with Oushk @Blondeshavemorefun , a 10mg. think it was 145 in total. I ordered last week for delivery wednesday and they have not approved yet, but ive read they approve at least 48 hours before delivery so not panicking yet.. I went with them for the choosing a delivery day and will stick with them now if i get approved.. had to do the photo thing again but thats ok.

I have no idea how many more pens im gonna do but i want to stay on this for at least another 6 months.

Blondeshavemorefun · 07/02/2025 08:03

Last week and you haven’t heard ? That’s bad and slow

WWJ DAY and a lb off

bit miffed it’s not more. I know. Be grateful I’ve lost. I’m usually 2lbs a week and tho was hungry yesterday I did stay in my cals

but

means I’m in the 12’s - just - 12.13 but it’s a win and nice to see a 12 at the beginning as once was a 17 !!!

Well done on the lb loss @Blondeshavemorefun!

owlyboo · 07/02/2025 08:54

@Blondeshavemorefun well done on the loss and seeing the 12s! That's brilliant.

Weirdly after having a super lazy day yesterday and fearing bad sleep last night because of it I actually had a really good night...and feeling a lot better today. Maybe my body just really needed the rest after being poorly all week.

Good luck to all those weighing today. My turn tomorrow although I'm expected a STS after a large loss last week but we shall see! (Usually how my body seems to go now I'm lower in weight)

Blondeshavemorefun · 07/02/2025 08:55

Thanks @owlyboo abs @Motnight

just off to boot camp - really don’t feel like it but …….

HellofromJohnCraven · 07/02/2025 09:09

Just checking in.
Now 65.8 kg, which means 36 lbs in 6 months to the day. I have spent a month or so floating around the same weight, give or take so havr doubled down this week and really tracked cals and lost 2.5 lbs.
I have also discovered the miracle inulin powder from Holland and Barratt. Normally view them and sellers of snake oil and magic beans but this is miracle stuff. 2 tps mixed into a yoghurt twice a day and sorted out the constipation in a week.
I have stuck at 7.5 dose for months. I think that this pen will be my last on that dose. My next one I am going to reduce to 5 and then down to 2 and taper off. I've got 10 lbs left to lose.
So, at the 6 month point I'm delighted. I am 57 next week and my motivation was to hit that with a significant weigh loss. My dbro died at 56 and I gave myself a year from last August to change my future. The next 6 months are all about fitness so I am going to sign up with a gym on my birthday(gulp) and get working on my strength. But I figure if I can lose the 3 extra stone I have carried for most of my adult life, I can also join a gym and stick to a programme for 6 months!

NippyNinjaCrab · 07/02/2025 09:17

Morning , after 2 weeks of sts I'm a 3lbs off today whoop. Now 11st 5lbs yes!! 5lbs to my original goal now! Happy happy happy 😊

@Blondeshavemorefun don't worry about the approval time with Oushk, its good service i promise. I like them anyway, the maintenance plan i have is 15% off the pens and free delivery. I can use my maintenance codes or use a discount code if it works out more but obviously factor the delivery cost into that. Well done for the 1lbs off 🥳

@owlyboo aw that's fab you feel so much better today, sometimes a day of just taking time to rest is what you need. Xx

@20bloodypounds fingers crossed it skips a generation for your DD ❤️ My Mum had breast cancer in her 40's and although we have had cysts and stage 3 cervical cells we seem to be okay. It's the unknown in your body isn't it? Xxx

4pink1blue · 07/02/2025 09:23

Happy weigh day everyone. Some great results this week - well done ladies!
3lbs for me this week. Hoping for 2lbs next week then I'll have hit 6 stone 😳

SW 19st
CW 13st 2lbs

1clavdivs · 07/02/2025 09:40

Haven't posted on here for a while, but well done everyone on all the loses! I'm about to go up to 10mg. I don't know exactly why I've decided to do this, just a sense that it's all becoming a huge battle again. I've started to feel my blood sugar really drop when I get hungry (often getting cold sweats and shaking during the day which drives me to eat whatever is at hand). I'm still losing weight at about 1lb a week though. Am at 11st 6lbs now and about a 1.5 stone from goal.

Last week I popped into the local pharmacy who are selling the jabs. I asked them about maintenance etc, and they said they'd be happy to support if I can show them the full prescribing history, and as long as I didn't go below BMI 22. I was going to switch to them, but I'm undecided. They're doing 2.5mg and 5mg for £120 and 7.5mg and 10mg for £160. It's either switch to them and have an in-person pharmacy, or stick with Oushk who do seem to have their shit together.

owlyboo · 07/02/2025 09:44

Well done @HellofromJohnCraven. What a brilliant journey. So sorry to hear about your brother but fantastic you've used it as a positive to change your life for the better. A great legacy to him.

Well done @NippyNinjaCrab fab loss!!!

@4pink1blue wowsa! That's fabulous! Well done you! You must feel like a different woman!

@1clavdivs gosh that doesn't sound good with the cold sweats/shaking... I hope you get that under control soon as it must be horrible. I think most of the maintenance plans have around that BMI 22 cut off so seems to be pretty normal. So go with whichever is easier/cheaper!

WorriedRelative · 07/02/2025 10:19

@Blondeshavemorefun whoop whoop well done for the 12s! That's amazing, it's my next goal but I'm still 6lbs away.

Re: Oushk approvals, it is a bit weird when you are used to pharmacies that approve and dispatch almost straight away but because you can order ahead such a long way they approve in order of dispatch date instead of based on when you ordered. They always sort it in time though, and they will amend an order before it has been approved too which is handy if you change your mind about dose.

WorriedRelative · 07/02/2025 10:27

For those struggling with Jeans have a look at Sainsbury's, very reasonably priced so not bad if they don't fit for long but great quality and lots of styles. There's a thread in style and beauty about them, made me feel very on trend 🤣

I have the wide leg ones and have had compliments from the trendy twenty-somethings at work!

Plus the sizing is generous, I'm in a 14 and they are feeling a bit big!

Blondeshavemorefun · 07/02/2025 10:49

@HellofromJohnCraven sorry to hear about your brother and well sone on loss

@NippyNinjaCrab wow at 3lb so close to goal - well done

@4pink1blue amazing nearly lost 6s

@1clavdivs nice to hear from you - mayve have sone protein snacks for when hungry - good your local chemist is doing them and 22 is normal for cut off

@WorriedRelativeyou will get there soon

yes med express would approve at once

I will look at sains

just feel a bit meh at the moment as I know I’ve lost weight 4s + but annoying 18 are large but 16 to small

poppym12 · 07/02/2025 11:02

I weighed yesterday and was almost a kg off. However, this morning the bloody kilo is back 😡. How? Why?

Also started to feel really hungry yesterday (I didn't overeat though) which is typical as I'd just taken delivery of my second 10mg pen as it seemed to be working quite well. Good level of suppression even though no massive weight loss. Maybe I should have moved up to 12.5.

weaselyeyes · 07/02/2025 11:07

Well done to losers! Awesome results from @NippyNinjaCrab , @Blondeshavemorefun , @HellofromJohnCraven , @4pink1blue and anyone else I've missed. @HellofromJohnCraven well done on getting near that milestone - it's a very poignant achievement and amazing that you were able to make that pledge and stick to it.

@Blondeshavemorefun IQ Doctor don't send out codes, but they're up on the monj.co.uk site and they have one every month. And stop stressing about the size 16s! Like everyone's said, sizing is so variable. Also, you know you've been losing weight, it just means recent pounds haven't come off in the areas that would affect your jean size. I'm sure you'll fit a 16 in a week or so and then in a fortnight you'll probably find it's the turn of your lower half to shed the pounds and they'll be hanging off you. I remember when you started and you kept saying MJ was no better than SW and just really expensive, and now look at you - you're transformed! Keep the faith (in yourself) and the size 18s - and 16s - will soon be receding into memory.

2lb off for me this week, which is nice. I'm now 10'3", which makes 4'1" off since I started MJ. I've done so much yo yo dieting over the years, but usually 3 stone is that point at which I falter - no matter what I weighted to start with - and I'm so thrilled to have been able to keep going. I'm getting really psyched to hit the 9s, which will just feel like a miracle if I make it.

Blondeshavemorefun · 07/02/2025 11:28

I’m not sure I said mj wasn’t better then sw

just that I was losing a lb a week on sw and seemed to do the same on mj

But that was as I was eating the same stuff

but when I changed to cal counting and put in what I ate on sw it was sometimes 2500c a day v 1200 what I eat now

still mazes me people lose 7/10s on sw

but guess when they stop they gain it back

where once at goal I guess we add 500c back to our intake and see if sts
