My amazing auggies ladies 💖 - another thread and heading for 6mths in !!!

Be proud of us all.

We conquered our first Christmas and many of us sts or lost. Which is a first.

Those who gained it was 1-2lbs (minus the lady who ate her family and gained 18lbs) 😂😂 and the gain has come off

So to a new 2025 - some are getting near their goal and thinking about maintenance

Some still have a way to go to get to their happy weight

Some are on the highest dose of 15

Some are 5 and below

@weaselyeyes. Thanks for the sympathy and advice...feeling totally drained but it's one last push to get those last few pounds off. I am going to try 11 mg on Thursday. I really must try some exercise. Because of MJ and codeine induced tiredness with poor sleep I have been sitting around a lot more than usual. I have bad back for nearly 40 years and have tried everything to be honest. Not very good about doing exercises at home, especially when feeling so drained.

@Azuresky68 unfortunately there are a lot of 'bad eggs' out there and at the moment I don't have the time, inclination or head space to weed out those wrong uns! So I'll be steering clear for now. Concentrating on the kids as they're both getting older (eldest starts GCSE years next year and youngest starting high school) so they won't want to hang out with me much longer!

Thanks @Azuresky68 and @owlyboo. Yes that’s how I feel. Took a lot to meet /strip after dh 1 died and was with him 19yrs. Then meet dh 2 and 13yrs and now almost 52

now I’m older and have had a child so body shape diff

and yes @Azuresky68 this is hopefully a safe space as I’ve said more then I’ve intended to - tho sure no one apart from us would really read our treads so all should be contained between us

@Blondeshavemorefun it must have been so hard to move on after dh died. But you did it and if you want to down the line you'll do it again.

Yes but ready at the moment but one day yes I do and if @Azuresky68 can meet the man of her dreams in 60’s - there is hope for me

apps seem the way to go but many just want a shag. Which yes I do 😂 but not like that iyswim

Yes that's what I did too..concentrated on my kids until they were independent xx

You will know when you are ready 🤗 Dating Apps aren't all bad ...I know a lot of people in their 50's and 60's who have met that way...it's seen as acceptable these days for 'mature' people 🤣

Hello all, it's bucketing down here, yuck. Please share if you want to and its not derailing at all, look at the utter mindless drivel I pop on 😂 that's definitely derailing haha. I have also shared too much but only this thread, anyone who knows me will recognise the dogs immediately 😂

I had a big fruit salad for breakfast with Greek yoghurt, a MyProtein bar thing when I went to the co op and a cracker with philli and shredded ham. I'm going to commit to attending the Aqua mobility class tomorrow afternoon eek!

We had a very wet walk today, i was soaked even with the equidry on, think i need to re proof it again.

What's everyone having for dinner? I'm going to have salmon with stir fry vegetables and brown rice. X

I forgot to mention that the best thing I ever did to feel more confident at the beginning of the new phase back in the day was to buy a black lace body with bra sizing ...no need to strip naked right away 🤣🤣🤣🤣

When i met current DH my self esteem was lower than a snakes belly, I honestly thought he was at it when he said he fancied me so much. I thought he was just saying anything to get into my knickers haha.

I agree with online, it's mostly full of married blokes wanting a shag urgh, slugs x

tho surely if satay on same dose you will keep losing 1-2 lbs a week or that you up your calories and add 500

I ordered from Oushk in the end, its still processing, ive ordered to come next wednesday as i can be home all day then for delivery.. fingers crossed they approve me, Im gonna stick with them now too..

I'm risk taker normally.. but if u felt shitty on the 15 then maybe stick with the 12.5 for now, maybe slowly go up. I don't do the clicks, just straight in with the amount..

Oh dear, sorry to hear about bad night's sleep. Mine is still awful too and I wake up exhausted and drained, after having horrible dreams. Tomorrow I am trying 11 mg.

@Blondeshavemorefunif you can get jabs cheaper elsewhere you don't need to move to Oushk until nearer maintenance. I am with Oushk but bought a pen elsewhere as it was £60 off the first order.
But we don't know if things are going to change soon with the tightening up of prescribing.
I still feel crap and I am looking forward to titrating down.

@morbidcuriosity just to let you know for an extra £1 you can get Royal Mail tracked delivery which is supposed to arrive before 1 pm - mine always does. If you have already ordered you can call Oushk and get it changed over the phone.

@Azuresky68 good idea about body suit. I must admit just getting rid of all my old massive pants and buying new ones that actually fit made me feel better 😂

@Blondeshavemorefun another shitty night here as well. Woke up with horrendous nightmare at about 2am (hadn't that long been asleep) and was so vivid it took me ages to drop back off. Not necessarily MJ related though as I always get nightmares. Hopefully a better night tonight 🤞🤞

@Azuresky68 I think with the new guidelines and tightening of rules it will definitely be worth sticking with one eventually as I think it will become a ball ache getting accepted each time. But who knows. I had my chemist4u prescription accepted. Another month at 15. I explained that whilst I was now a healthy bmi I wanted to get to a lower more settled healthy bmi which they accepted. I'm hoping as we've all been with our prescribers/on MJ for a while the new rules won't affect us but who knows 🤷‍♀️

I've got to wait in for new TV and broadband today... i literally HATE waiting in for people makes me feel anxious... stupid I know!!
