My amazing auggies ladies 💖 - another thread and heading for 6mths in !!!

Be proud of us all.

We conquered our first Christmas and many of us sts or lost. Which is a first.

Those who gained it was 1-2lbs (minus the lady who ate her family and gained 18lbs) 😂😂 and the gain has come off

So to a new 2025 - some are getting near their goal and thinking about maintenance

Some still have a way to go to get to their happy weight

Some are on the highest dose of 15

Some are 5 and below

Were you losing weight at 7.5 @Weepixie? There's no benefit in going up for the sake of it, especially if you feel rotten. If you felt ok at 7.5 or 8 I'd stay there and then only go up after a month if you're not getting any benefit. I've only just managed to get above 5, as I've been prepared to put up with less suppression and a bit more food noise if it meant I didn't get the side effects, and I've been able to lose a pound or two a week on average. I will be trying to creep up a bit to get the final tricky pounds off, but I'll be doing more slowly than .5 or 1 per week.

Has anyone switched to oushk? . I want to as I need to choose a delivery day as finding it hard to be in when guessing when orders are approved etc.

My question is my last box (7.5) has Dec 29th order date on it, but I've not even started that pen yet, got my bonus dose to do then start it..
Will they let me order if the date goes much further, was gonna order now for delivery about 12th Feb . But then I don't actually need it till like 6 weeks from now. I used discounts etc that's why I have a full pen still and not ordered for a while..

Oh @Weepixie im sorry you’ve been feeling so ill! This is why I’m back on 2.5/ braved 3.75 this week - I basically suffered non stop as soon as I went up to 5, and again on 7.5 - I put up with too long really through desperation to make progress with the weight, now I’m back to accepting very slow progress on a lower dose because I just can’t deal with feeling so ill any more.

I too have to take omeprazole with mine, also try digestive enzymes but I can’t say they make a particular difference. Have you got bunged up at all, I find if I can avoid that then it’s not so bad. Also wellgard have brought out a supplement called ‘my journey’ which the tiktok mj-ers rave about for reducing side effects but how much you want to believe them I don’t know! I generally rate the wellgard stuff and am contemplating a purchase when the stuff I’ve got currently runs out.

@morbidcuriosity I’m with oushk have been since my second pen. I really rate them.

@morbidcuriosity I am with Oushk and they are great. You can have a 15 minute chat about anything at a cost of £5. Keep a record of all your pens - I take a photo of the label with my name on. You can email with questions and they get back to you. I recently bought a pen from another pharmacy as it had £60 discount for the first time you bought from them. This meant there was a gap between my normal orders from Oushk but I mentioned it in my consultation and it didn't seem to be a problem. If you opt for Royal Mail delivery you can pay a £1 extra to get it delivered before 1 pm. Stand p&p is £6.99 I think. They have a discount at the moment for new customers..it's all on the Oushk website.

Day after my 12.5 mg jab. I can't eat a thing! Managed a My Protein shake. No side effects. 4 more doses of 12.5 then going down after that.

WWJ for me to day. My scales are driving me mad. First time I got on I was 12.3, next time I got on them it said 11.13.5 (whoop whoop but can't be real) then next time was 12.1.25, which is the one I've recorded as it will mean I've lost 0.75 this week 😀. I've decided to adopt the view that whatever my real weight is, it's undoubtedly loads less than when I started in August, even if I do still have a squidgy tummy.

New scales for me I think - these are Salter that I thought was good, but they are quite old I suppose. Anyone got a brand they trust?

I had the same issue with my old scales, had to stand on them, off and reset and stand i think they were salter too. I bought Renpho scales and they are fab. They link to an app too and it gives you a congratulatory chime when you've lost 😂 that makes my wee chops happy haha xx

That sounds fun @NippyNinjaCrab , but I hope they don't make an insulting noise if you gain. I'd be very upset to hear quacking or oinking!

@whethertheweather I also have Renpho and rate them. Nice the weight automatically goes to phone. I'm not sure which ones mine are I've had them a while.

Just done my next pen order from chemist 4 u. Weirdly the first time they haven't asked for a photo. (They usually ask for every order!) I wonder if it's because I'm a healthy weight. Weirdly also haven't asked some questions they usually do like how I eat/alcohol consumption/exercise etc. They assured me a few months ago they keep prescribing once at a healthy weight and recommend getting down to bmi 22/23 and I've asked to stay on 15 until I'm at a more stable bmi... fingers crossed they stick to their word!

@Weepixie I'm still struggling too. Did 7.5 from a 10pen last weekend as discussed on here. Suffered this week with nausea and stomach cramps, had a day off work due to vomiting culminating in spending 12 hours last night/today with chronic diarrhoea. I feel drained, literally. I've jabbed 5 from my 10 pen today. I need to order a new one next week - I'm going to get 7.5 and keep my fingers crossed my side effects reduce. I lose slowly at the best of times, I was not planning to reduce just yet. 6 m jabiversary today - 35 lb down, 20 to go. Had hoped to get to GW by April but if I'm reducing doses now I don't fancy my chances. I hope you feel better soon, it's so grim

Just doing my weekly catch up. Sorry some of you are feeling grim. This really isn't a walk in the park, whatever the Daily Fail makes out.

I hit a whole pile of milestones this week. My kg are in the 60s (just) and a smidge under 11 stone. That's 3 stone (19kg/21.5% SW) lost, 1 more stone to go, and I weigh less than my skinny husband for the first time in a long time. Need to get organised and book my oushk maintenance appt (bit of a wait atm) otherwise I'll be well past my goal weight going at this pace. 9mg seems to be my good place.

No thigh gap here though. That's an awesome NSV @Blondeshavemorefun .

Good morning! Happy Sunday everyone. Sleeping very badly. MJ dreams. Yesterday I managed to consume:
AM. My protein shake made with half milk and half water as too much milk makes me queasy.
Evening - 1 egg, half a can of baked beans, on 2 slices toast
Glass of milk - don't normally drink this!
Total 800 calories according to MFP
I don't fancy anything healthy on 12 5. Jabbed on Thursday still very high suppression. I might lower clicks to 10 mg or maybe try 11 mg. How many clicks would it be to get 11 mg out please? I want to start eating more normally.
There was a big fresh donut brought by family of my fella. In the past I wouldn't have been able to resist!
