My amazing auggies ladies 💖 - another thread and heading for 6mths in !!!

Be proud of us all.

We conquered our first Christmas and many of us sts or lost. Which is a first.

Those who gained it was 1-2lbs (minus the lady who ate her family and gained 18lbs) 😂😂 and the gain has come off

So to a new 2025 - some are getting near their goal and thinking about maintenance

Some still have a way to go to get to their happy weight

Some are on the highest dose of 15

Some are 5 and below

Everyone welcome

@20bloodypounds @Blondeshavemorefun thank so much both of you. I worked it out eventually but glad you both confirmed it. Good luck to the WWJ Friday club. I am crossing everything for you.

Azuresky68 · 24/01/2025 06:28

@Weepixiesounds delicious! I am working on the theory that if I am really good calorie wise 6 days a week and occaissionally have a treat that's OK. I try and save up calories over the week. My sin yesterday was a lovely Thai meal but small portions - 3 tiny pork dumplings, rice and chicken Massaman curry. It was a lunch special at £10.95 a head. I met my fella for a date in town for that. I must say I felt really full. At the pub I had lime and soda..I am a cheap date! Then I made my veggie daughter a red pepper and onion flan and had a tiny slice with salad. No breakfast though. Felt really guilty about the flan...can I receive absolution please?

@Mum0ntherun @Blondeshavemorefun so sorry about your poor sleep. You have my sympathy. I was wide awake at 6 am and went to sleep about 1 am. The 12.5 mg is making me feel shattered and bunged up. It's wild and windy here! Just realised I didn't mean to sound as if I was wild and windy!

Just doing my weekly trawl through the thread to try and catch up and a) I can't believe it's been nearly 6 months but b) there's so much progress here that I can't keep up with it all. It's lovely to be able to dip in and see how far we've come, even though I don't often post.

I've been going up in mini steps using extra clicks from the bonus dose, so I'm on 9 this week and suppression has gone through the roof. I'm quite stressed this week and where my normal approach to that would be to chomp through everything in sight (hungry caterpillar style), but it's having the opposite effect. I'm having to force food in. I think I could happily go a day on just coffee and water and I'm really fed up with that feeling now. I can't wait to get close to goal and start enjoying food again (in a new, healthy, balanced way, obvs).

Does anyone have any good foods for times when your brain now says no?

It's working though. 17.2 kg/2 stone 10lb down, 7.8 kg/1 stone 3lb to go. Hoping that I can do it by the easter holidays. I'm going to a wedding end of April and want to treat myself to a new frock 👗

My go to when I really don't fancy anything is fruit, in particular melon. Either that or a protein shake and some multivitamins. It's just whatever you can stomach that will give your body a bit of fuel.

WitchDancer · 24/01/2025 07:51

Morning all. I had an email from MedExpress asking me to complete a questionnaire about how I'm getting on, which apparently is a 6 month review thing. My deliveries are suspended until it's completed, so I'm hoping it's not going to take them too long to do. They asked if I had any reaction on my injection site, which I do, so I hope that's not going to be a red flag 🤞
It would be typical that they cut me off when I'm just starting to get decent suppression!

AuntieDote · 24/01/2025 08:04

@NippyNinjaCrab theres a huge difference, you’ve done incredibly well and look great - not like an Easter egg at all!

Blondeshavemorefun · 24/01/2025 08:26

Glad you enjoyed @Weepixie. Shouldn’t be a prob to have a tray every now and again

@Azuresky68your lunch out sounds good and looks yummy

@WitchDancer lots of other ones if they do so don’t worry

I was always med express till they wouldn’t price match as all the high doses more costly

@Mum0ntherun hope you got some sleep

Okay, here are the pics with same outfit 6 months apart. Excuse the rooms we are still in a guddle after new heating and insulation and painting. DH says he can see a big difference, I can see a difference just not much tbh 😔☹️ tummy is ugly and it's like I'll never get rid of it and the wedges at the sides! Don't know why i black out my face when the mutts are floating about 😆

You definitely see the difference!!! Looking good!!! Xxx

MrsHerbs79 · 24/01/2025 09:19

Weigh in day!! Forgot to say 1lb off last week…..which was good cos maintained over Christmas and New Year and 3lb off today!!

Current Weight 13st 1lbs so 3st 5lb lost!!

I’ve always been a bit of a slower loser with usually 1-2lbs a week but getting there xxx

Ok. Being a brave blondes as 1st pic is really unflattering but you have seen it before month ago so …….

I don’t see a huge diff as still have huge lumpy hips , thighs and tummy

people have commented on my loss since around 3/3.5s but I haven’t really gone down in sizes which is disappointing

i was an 18 but tbh more a 20 squeezing out of it and I did find a pair of 20 jeans which I don’t R.E.M. buying 😳😳 but are Worn inside leg seam so I must have been a 20 😳😳

my 18 jeans are baggy on me but I don’t fit in a sodding 16. I don’t get it 🥲

trousers are weird as top half has gone from an xxxl Xmas jumper to a medium

and same with dresses - was an 18/xxxl which may be a 20 and bought a couple at Xmas and fitted in medium /think one was a 14

but trousers are still an 18. Well maybe 17 but def not a 16

if I managed to lose another 2s so down to just over 11s

i was a size 12 at 11s in 2005 so 20yrs ago

not sure that will happen this time

@Blondeshavemorefun i did eventually and as I’m not working today I just stayed in bed and have only just got up - really needed it.

Well done on the loss and you really can see a difference in the pics - look at you thigh gap lady but I get what you mean. I put on weight all over not just in one place so that’s how I’ve lost it.

It must be that your tummy is the most stubborn which is damn frustrating but it will go. I have a stubborn tummy pouch (3 csections don’t help).

You will get there. You’ve done an amazing job 4 stone is incredible. As you tell others don’t be hard on your self!! Celebrate every win 🥳🥳

Motnight · 24/01/2025 10:20

What a difference @Blondeshavemorefun!

Glittermoonlight · 24/01/2025 10:23

Wow!! Amazing photos @NippyNinjaCrab & @Blondeshavemorefun - you both are looking so much slimmer. That’s a huge difference! Perhaps I’ll try & be brave & post photos one of these days!😂
Congratulations @MrsHerbs79 on your loss.
My first jab was the 24th August, so exactly 5 months today, & my total loss is now 50lbs. Am on my 3rd 10mg pen. My fat left is very much in my middle, boobs & tummy, legs & arms loads thinner. Looks a bit strange really!! Am hoping the next stone off will be from the stomach area. I’m now able to wear size 16, was wearing 20/22. My daughter made me try on a 14 in M&S, but although I could squeeze it on it wasn’t very comfy, still a bit tight.
I’ve always been a poor sleeper with vivid dreams, but since starting MJ they’re on a total new level of weirdness!! So many many sympathies to those with insomnia. I rarely sleep more than 2 hours at a time, toss & turn all night! I used to blame it on shift work, but not currently working so can’t blame it on that anymore!!

4pink1blue · 24/01/2025 10:40

Looking great @Blondeshavemorefun ! Congratulations on reaching 4 stone 👏
I have somehow lost a week. My weigh ins and jabs don't tally. I thought I was on week 23 but I'm actually on week 24 so I really don't know where I've gone wrong 😂. So at the end of my 6th pen and before I start 10mg my stats are....
Week 24 weigh in
-2.5lbs.
Total loss 76.5lbs.
SW 19st size 22-24
CW 13st 7.5lbs size 14-16

Fantastic difference @Blondeshavemorefun ! And well done to you and @MrsHerbs79 on losses!

I was very pleased and surprised with 3lb off this week, so I'm a couple of pounds short of 4 stone off and ten to go to a healthy BMI, though I think I need to lose more for buffering reasons. I think my flabby overhanging stomach probably weighs a stone and a half by itself! Oh well, I can stuff it in things more easily these days, which is a big improvement 😀

weaselyeyes · 24/01/2025 10:44

And you just going with the losses @4pink1blue - looking so svelte there!

NippyNinjaCrab · 24/01/2025 10:46

Good morning and thank you everyone for your support. I just need to be patient and lose the next few pounds and start to tone up. DH gave me a talking to last night, I just felt aw fuck this but I'm realising just how much fat I had to lose and it's not going to go in 6 months ffs!

@Blondeshavemorefun i can see a major difference in the pics! You look fabulous and your whole silhouette is so slim, beautiful blondes!

I've stayed the same this week 11st 8lbs. I need to kick my arse and start again for the next lot of weight and toning, it's a bloody slog I'll tell ya! But the weight didn't go on in 6 months so although I've been dieting (hate that word) for a year since Jan 2024 the bulk has gone since August, 2.5st. I'd predict that hopefully by the time our holiday is here in June I'll be so much happier with myself. DH is going to buy us some hand weights lol.

The storm is picking up here, one of the neighbours didn't move their bins so the bins and contents have been flying all over the cul de sac ffs. They've been out to pick it up but then put the bins back in the same bloody place ffs lol 😆

I'm not sure what to jab, I said 2.5mg because I have 1.6 in my system according to the app. That would take me nicely to 4mg. If I jab the full 5mg as it's a 5mg pen, I'd probably keel over with 6.6 in the body 😂

NippyNinjaCrab · 24/01/2025 10:49

@4pink1blue wow you look fantastic, in your pics when you post new ones your body language is so much happier and confident. Xx

Thanks @Mum0ntherun , @Motnight, @Glittermoonlight. @4pink1blue, @weaselyeyes, @NippyNinjaCrab, @MrsHerbs79 @owlyboo

I know I am a bit slimmer but I just don’t really see it and the fact I can’t get into a 16 is depressing me
