My amazing auggies ladies 💖 - another thread and heading for 6mths in !!!

Be proud of us all.

We conquered our first Christmas and many of us sts or lost. Which is a first.

Those who gained it was 1-2lbs (minus the lady who ate her family and gained 18lbs) 😂😂 and the gain has come off

So to a new 2025 - some are getting near their goal and thinking about maintenance

Some still have a way to go to get to their happy weight

Some are on the highest dose of 15

Some are 5 and below

Everyone welcome

@owlyboo you look so fit and slim and defo not grim 😂😂
You're like a wee butterfly emerging 😍

@Queenage fantastic!! And 2 months off, did you stop or titrate down? Is there a weight you want to get to or are you happy just now? So many questions 😂😂😂

@Blondeshavemorefun you're a wee insomniac sausage ☹️ have you tried any of the sleep teas?

Morning @Weepixie the app has made a difference for me understanding my body.

@Motnight you'll get that off no bother by May. I love Haribos but I find sweets like that make me thirsty I don't know if that's normal or weird 🤔 😂

owlyboo · 21/01/2025 10:27

Ah thanks @NippyNinjaCrab it still feels very surreal. That this time last year I was almost 16 stone and a size 18-20 and was so unhappy and unfit. I'd really lost who I was. So 2025 is definitely about finding me again!

@Blondeshavemorefun could be 15 affecting your sleep. I've had pretty vivid dreams/nightmares last few nights.

Motnight · 21/01/2025 11:01

Anyone else loving @Blondeshavemorefun's typos 🤣 Though the cock ones are my favourite! She is right though @owlyboo you definitely look trim not grim

morbidcuriosity · 21/01/2025 11:11

Wow at you guys on 15mg.. I'm 8th shot in my 7.5 and its still really strong suppression most of the week, really odd as some weeks by Thursday Friday I am hungry again but this week was all through till jab day.
I love how different it is for everyone, would of loved to been able to do the whole journey on 2.5, how much money I could of saved..
But so far think I've found my sweet spot, as I can eat a meal, no desire to snack and nothing has made me feel sick (touch wood) .

owlyboo · 21/01/2025 11:14

Thanks @Motnight I definitely enjoyed the grim comment 😂😂

@morbidcuriosity it's very strange how it affects us all differently just done my second 15mg and so far 15 has been way better than 12.5. 12.5 made me very gippy which is hadn't had really on other doses and don't seem to have so far (touch wood) on 15.

I also wish I could stick at 2.5 😂 buying 15 is very expensive!

poppym12 · 21/01/2025 12:18

@owlyboo you look amazing!!

I'm struggling with sleep at the moment too @Blondeshavemorefun. I rarely remember my dreams in usual life but the last 2 nights (since injection), I'm having some bizarre dreams and waking up several times a night feeling really stressed by the dreams.

I picked up some melatonin at the airport on Saturday so I might try one of those tonight.

owlyboo · 21/01/2025 12:51

Thanks @poppym12

I always struggle with vivid dreams but they're definitely much worse on MJ!! Like you I sometimes struggle to get back to sleep after than. Not nice!

20bloodypounds · 21/01/2025 13:44

@owlyboo what a great picture and it must feel good to be back to exercise.

I injected my bonus dose on Sunday but got 0.8ml out and was a little confused by how much I injected. I think I accidentally did the full 5mg, certainly feeling a wee bit sick today. There are 2 more 5mg pens in the fridge, then fingers crossed that should be me heading for maintenance.

owlyboo · 21/01/2025 13:49

Thanks @20bloodypounds it really does. I've built it slowly. Doing more and more walks/hikes and today I felt ready to get back to running. Checked my vo2 (an indication of fitness level on garmin worked out through HR and things whilst exercising wearing my watch) and it's had a very satisfying incline over the last 5 months 🥳

I’m jealous @morbidcuriosity. I wish low doses worked for me

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 21/01/2025 14:42

Not having dreams. Just hard to settle

not sure why

OP posts:
owlyboo · 21/01/2025 16:17

Thanks @weaselyeyes

@Blondeshavemorefun absolutely don't have to answer but have you found it more difficult since splitting with your husband. I find that I go through stages on finding it harder to settle at night going to bed alone.

I made lots of changes to help with this. Getting smart plugs on all lamps so I wasn't the person doing all of the turning off at night (both downstairs and in the bedroom) ... playing white noise whilst I sleep, always have rain playing all night.

Trying my best to clear my mind whilst in trying to get to sleep and if my mind wonders to negative things concentrating on the sound of the rain and 'changing the subject' in my brain.

Hopefully you'll have a better night tonight 🤞

owlyboo · 21/01/2025 16:18

Thanks @weaselyeyes does feel good seeing it documented!

Blondeshavemorefun · 21/01/2025 17:20

Happy to answer. Not at all 😂

I slept better. Bed to myself. No snoring or stealing duvet

plus he smokes so would wake up and go for a fag and wake me several times in the night

just been the last month or so struggling

think my body clock is out of sync as I work nights

but haven’t recently and need to shift my body clock back again

I have lovely twins soon so that will sort me out !

😂😂 fair enough @Blondeshavemorefun !

Yes working nights must play havoc with your system!

WorriedRelative · 21/01/2025 17:55

Wow! Looking good!

PoemsForTea · 21/01/2025 18:46

I actually slept through 10.30 - 5.30 alarm and almost text my mum to say 'I SLEPT THROUGH' 😆 Shit sleep is just that - shit. I'll probably be back to 3.27 wakening tonight but I felt good today for a big sleep, so I'll take that!

PoemsForTea · 21/01/2025 18:47

owlyboo · 21/01/2025 09:24

Well done @Motnight ! Fab loss.

Well done @Queenage you must feel fabulous!!

So I just did my first couch - 5k! I used to run loads (half marathon was my max distance) but weight gain made it impossible with the strain on joints. I really enjoyed it! Could have ran for longer than the intervals but want to build slowly so I don't injure myself. And NSV fit into my old running jacket! My son was suitably horrified at the thought of me running in the streets... anyone would have thought I was going out doing it naked!!

Whit Wooo!

AuntieDote · 21/01/2025 20:02

Hi everyone, just come from another Pilates class - felt I was a bit better at it this time.

I injected another 2.5 last night and my guts are seriously kicking off today, I feel really worried that I just might not be able to continue at all, even on the lowest dose. Up to now it’s just sulfur burps and the noisiest wind ever, that Pilates class was an anxiety inducing 60 minutes let me tell you! Trying to focus on my breathing, isolating the right muscles AND avoiding letting rip during the downward dog!

But this is how it usually starts, so please keep your fingers crossed for me it doesn’t turn into D&V again tonight. I’m really hoping it’ll pass and I’ll be able to keep going because I’m feeling so motivated to get this last stone off and get to target, and I really don’t want to stop!

Blondeshavemorefun · 21/01/2025 20:12

@AuntieDote sorry you suffer so much

OP posts:
NippyNinjaCrab · 21/01/2025 21:20

@Blondeshavemorefun have you tried magnesium for sleep it helps my body settle.

@AuntieDote maybe try and space out your jabs longer, are you doing everything week? Try adding on another couple of days as your next dose is topping up your previous depending on how it leaves your system. So the previous jab doesn't leave completely in the 7 days. Oh god I hope you don't get ill 😔 fingers crossed. X

Blondeshavemorefun · 21/01/2025 21:36

No my little Crustian. I may have to get some
