@Shrinkingrose It's 23.3! I'm short!

My last check in / order with them was a few weeks ago and my bmi then was a little bit higher and nothing said

So my plan is to swap to Oushk now and start to taper down. Oushk have said they'll accept me (I've had a video chat) and my goal now is to stay around this weight and focus on building back strength and muscle mass (I've lost a lot) and

Ah, ok thank you, I was thinking it was much lower. ☺️

Wow @OwlFeatures that's incredible loss! I'd honestly be happy to get down to your "before" photo but your after is amazing. Like pp it honestly looks like you are far too slim to be on MJ - it's a real result.

Im wondering what it will look like when I get to not being able to take it anymore (over a year away I think) so following as I'm hoping maybe taper and low dose will be affordable.

Presumably the body evens out at some point if on a high dose as diabetics take it??? Or do people just keep losing??

How long were you on it for owl?
And any advice for side effects? Or any advice at all? I start Friday and would be beyond my wildest dreams to look like you one day😍

@FatsiaJaponicaInTheGarden I've been following your (pre?) journey and wish you lots of luck. There's literally no reason whatsoever why you won't lose the weight you want to lose.

You'll read a lot about side effects etc etc but for the majority of people, it's very straightforward. I took my first jab though and literally spent half an hour doing it all and then hours afterwards waiting to basically drop down dead 😀

Within 3 weeks, I was whacking the jab in as I busied myself in the kitchen feeding the cat and making dinner and it takes 10 seconds from start to finish!

I started at the end of April and was on 2.5 for about 5 months, then a couple of months at 5 and now 7.5 which I'm looking to taper off over the coming months.

My top tip would be to never look at your losses over a week - look at them over 30 days. That way you won't ever get hung up on perceived 'stalls' in weight. They're not stalls - they're just your body playing a bit of catch up

I whizzed off about 4 and a half stone in about 6 months and this final stone has taken me about 12 weeks I'd say.

MJ just makes it so easy. I eat very normally - yesterday was ...

Chocolate orange oat mix (I make up a batch of my own!) with Greek yogurt and goji berries

Wholewheat sandwich with brie and roasted veg and a bag of crisps

Tofu / rice / veg thick soup thing with loads of ginger , chilli and garlic

Small magnum lolly

And that's normal for me I'd say. I aim for 1400-1500 cals a day and have never eaten below this apart from the odd day

Do shout me if you have any questions at all as happy to share my experience

Thankyou Owl. It's so inspiring to read your posts and yes I imagine I'll spend Friday imagining I have everything under the sun! Great to think like you say in a few weeks it will just all be normal :)

Good point re the 30 days.

I love that you say it makes it easy. After so many years of trying so many things and failing I so hope that this will be the thing to enable it all to work. My life will be so unbelievably different without the weight.

Thanks for your support too ❤️
