Kind patches

Anyone tried the GLP1 kind patches? I'm on my third day with them and my appetite is suppressed but not sure if it's them or because I'm slightly ill.

Keep us posted, they are sold out and I'm on the waiting list for when they come back in stock.

WeAllHaveWings · 27/12/2024 19:46

Looks like they are Berberine which is available as tablets too.

Kalettesarethebest · 27/12/2024 22:32

Early days but so far so good. Will keep you updated. I tried wegovy and did lose weight but put some back on and now can’t justify the cost.

Am interested in these too. I cant afford injections and am below the BMI range but need to lose some weight, esp round my middle and these looked a good alternative.

Tohaveandtohold · 28/12/2024 13:58

I’ve just checked these online and they sound good. For me, this could end up being a cost effective alternative to the jabs for maintenance. I hope they work for you

Wow! GLP1 patches! Can you kindly let us know what the ingredients are?

Tally2721 · 02/01/2025 16:56

Hey OP!

Just wondering if there's any update on these patches, do you feel they're definitely working?

TIA😊

No they aren't. It's very misleading marketing, they name them based on the effect they are trying to achieve not the ingredients.

They are berberine, which can be bought from Holland and Barrett and has been shown to help regulate insulin sensitivity but not by a massive amount.

The patches contain natural extracts such as berberine, pomegranate, and cinnamon, and claim to balance blood sugar levels and reducing sugar cravings.

There are a few facebook groups of people trying berberine in tablet form post-mounjaro. It is more established in tablet form - some posting say the tablets help (placebo effect?), many say they had no changes to appetite.

There is limited evidence, and no regulation, for patches and if berberine can be effectively absorbed through the skin and whether they do work effectively and safely or if they are a gimmick.

Orangesandlemons77 · 02/01/2025 17:18

I saw them and thought it looked dodgy

izzy2076 · 02/01/2025 17:22

@InfoSecInTheCity yes I know. I reported this post last week but it's still here. It's obviously very scammy!

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 02/01/2025 19:03

I reported an ad of theirs on fb for having incorrect information but fb refused to take it down🤷‍♀️

Kalettesarethebest · 04/01/2025 17:35

I mean, I’m just a normal user wanting to share my experience, why are people so skeptical?
so far, so good! It’s not the glp1 injections but I feel like it’s making a slight difference, taking the edge off my appetite.

Mochaismypassion · 04/01/2025 20:12

Hi! What brand did you buy?

KentishMama · 05/01/2025 12:53

These patches do not contain GLP1, it's a total con. False advertising. They should be sued. The active ingredient is only Berberine, which has been around for ever.

Kalettesarethebest · 05/01/2025 17:01

I can understand people saying there's false advertising going on but they do say it's a GLP1 alternative.
It's definitely not GLP1 but it does seem to have some effect so I'm taking that as I can't afford the injections.

Amelie80 · 07/01/2025 08:40

What brand are you using? I'm currently on wegovy but I'm planning to do 3 more months then swap for patches?

CraftyHun88 · 12/01/2025 07:16

the patches are not a scam, they clearly state that they do not contain Semaglutide which is the active ingredient in ozempic, mounjaro etc.
Currently at 140 kgs 308lbs 22 stone, I’ve started my patches today and am hopeful. Would love it if you could keep us updated OP, of any weight loss, side effects, if you think they are working, and here to support you aswell, let’s do this 😊

Gettingslimmer · 12/01/2025 07:22

This is such a scam following the tik tok nonsense last year about berberine. I tried it, it makes no difference.

they actually call them glp-1 patches, which they are not, I’m shocked anyone is buying them and falling for it.they even say it’s a glp-1 blend.

it is some dodgy company trying to jump on the bandwagon and scam those who want glp’s and can’t get them, either due to money or eligibility.

I'm a week in and am noticing a difference. Honestly, I don't care if it's a placebo effect, I am not compelled to snack in the way I was, so for me, that's a win.

00Namechange00 · 16/01/2025 08:18

They are a scam and making medicinal claims such as calling your product associating it to a medical substance is illegal.
they should be investigated and the website closed down

Of course they are a scam and they are making illicit claims.
do you think that all these people would have bought it if they didn’t call it with that name? The ingredients list state “kind glp1” that again is untruthful therefore misleading advertisement.

Yes it’s a scam. But someone posted they don’t care it’s a placebo, it’s like saying I will inject myself with water, not glp and I don’t care, I will just pretend,. It’s even a very low dose of berberine, compared to the pill format you get down Holland and Barrett or on Amazon. With some cinnamon and pomegranate thrown in, I mean who can realistically think taking cinnamon through a patch will make you lose weight, but clearly people are spending money on it and pretending.

Exactly. Also assuming it was a good enough quantity of berberine, how can they believe that the substance can go through the skin cells, then in the blood stream and eventually go to the intestine and stimulate production of glp1? Complete fantasy!
