Do you weigh yourself daily or weekly?

Just starting my journey and wondering what to do for the best. I want to lose weight slowly and healthily for my starting weight 14 stone, eg 2 lbs per week, so maybe weekly would be fine. OTOH maybe daily might more of an incentive (but could also be neurotic). Wondering what works for other people?

Once a week, maybe every two weeks. I think I’d go mad if I weighed every day. I want to stop being obsessed by weight and eating - that’s why I started MJ. I monitor my weigh, make a note of my progress, calculate my calories/exercise and that’s enough (for me).

Daily but I don't pay huge attention to the weight each day, it really fluctuates. I consider my current weight to be the weekly average.
If I only stood on the scales once a week it wouldn't be accurate enough for me.

It's been almost three years since I last weighed myself.

I'm another 4 off so 18lbs I'm on 5mg week 2

I weigh daily - every morning. It jumps around a bit but I know that and it gives me really good data to see the trends!

Daily. But I love data and charts, so the more data I can collect about the journey, the more interesting I find it.

People seem very individual on this!

After reading this thread through, I’ve decided to weigh formally once a week - but will probably check once or twice mid-week to get a general idea of direction - so any surprises in either direction hopefully won’t faze me! I decided I’m the kind of person who doesn’t want to do it every day, but as a pp mentioned once a week creates a kind of weird pressure on that one day! so I think this will be a happy medium for me.

Thanks, posts surprisingly clarifying.
