Christmas

I’m just interested to know what others plans to do over Christmas eg continue as normal or skip/delay a dose? I’ve been on Mounjaro 10 weeks now and I’ve lost 24lbs which I’m made up with but I’m considering delaying my usual Thursday dose and taking it on the Friday instead. I don’t plan on massively overeating not that I’d be able to anyways but I do plan on sampling a mince pie and I want to be able to enjoy a bit of everything including my dh’s amazing Christmas dinner.

Carrying on as usual but I'm under-supressed if anything at the moment. Was going to go up a [sub] dose yesterday but decided to stay put due to risk of side effects when I have two meals out, rather than keeping suppression low.

I am planning to go up on Thu (to 5 mg from 4.6 mg) - and hoping that will give me a good moderate suppression over Christmas. Hopefully better than I have now and keep me off the wine a bit more than it does now...

In your position (sound like you have very good suppression) I would consider dropping down a sub dose but still take the meds as usual. Your suppression might naturally not be quite a intense though on your current dose by Christmas.

My injection day is Thursday so that would be boxing day. I might do it in the evening that week. This would mean my natural lull in suppression that I tend to get towards the end of the week would coincide with Christmas day.
