Refused due to photo

I've just been turned down my MedExpress as they say my photo 'seems that your BMI is below 31.3'. I promise I have put my correct height and weight in, and that is my BMI 😫

My pic was standing, facing camera and wearing a vest and jogging bottoms. Not sure what to do. They have asked for another photo - any suggestions? Should I send one in my undies??

Has any one else experienced this??

They turned me down not because of my awful photos, but because I've had my gallbladder out. I was gutted.

They did eventually prescribe - I think they were just terrified of what might come next...

Fwiw anyone contemplating the strip show, try just pulling your shirt tight behind you with one hand while you take the picture with the other. It’s worked for me for the few I’ve had to take. (Though in fairness my weight is all in my belly and I was probably close to the weather balloon analogy someone else used 🤣 ) You need Lycra workout leggings as well.

@MaidOfSteel I think there are other prescribers who have accepted people who have had their gall bladder removed. I'm sure I've seen people posting about it in this section.

There's a possible risk of exacerbating gallstones when taking Mounjaro, but if you don't have a gall bladder to begin with then surely that is no longer a risk!

The Med Express questionnaire doesn’t ask if you’ve had your gallbladder out. It asks if you have any gallbladder problems. I answered no because my gallbladder is no longer there to cause problems!

Me too.. uploaded a new photo heard nothing and then got a reminder today. I hadn't realised they seem to need you to upload your id again too -grrrr!

When I left Voy and changed supplier to Medino, my bmi was 27. I sent a full frontal photo with me in a gym bra and full knickers with belly hanging over the waistband, fat spilling out of the armholes and side saddles.

I added a photo of scales reading and a video of my height measurement. My target weight was 8st 13, which is the top end of healthy bmi for me. I got my pen 48 hrs later! I'm now 4lbs off target weight and on my final pen.

Updating for anyone having similar problems.

I sent another picture, side view, leggings and bra, tummy sticking out. Was approved in a few days, pen arrived yesterday and starting tonight. I do wonder if it was a bit of a delaying tactic by MedExpress 🤔but all sorted now.

Thanks for all the advice, it really helped. And @mjuser the horrific gradual striptease had me crying 😂
