Starting saxenda

Hi all.

I've just stared saxenda this morning. 0.6 for the first week.
I'm juat a little nervous as I'm an anxious person. I have at least 4 stone to lose

Has anyone any tips?
Can anyone let me how much exercise they did to see results and how much I should be watching my food?
Am I OK to drink alcohol on it? I never asked the doctor.

Hi all
I think I am at the end of week 9 now, I weigh in on Wed. I've lost 20lbs. I've had a couple of weeks of no movement on the scale. I am still eating a lot less than I would have, but - and I know I am like a broken record here - I am not watching my cals properly. @bigdecisionaboutwork your post about only needing 600 - 800 cals has inspired me to try similar. I will do some meal planning and get my groceries sorted. It's a lot of money to be spending on jabs if I am not actually going to work my hardest while on them. On the other hand, I am kinda enjoying the stress free side of it - eat when I am hungry, leave it when I am not. No real thinking involved. @dubmimi how are you getting on so far?

Wow you have had a fab loss!
I'm day 5 now, will weigh myself day 7.
Need to start planning out food etc & increasing protein, going away this weekend & will try get healthy eating when I return

End of week 11 here, and today I have hit the 2 stone target! (Also down 5 BMI points). I've a list of targets so that I always have something that's not too far away to be off-putting - all the BMI points, half stone loss, full stone loss, 5, 10, 15 lbs loss etc. finding it quite encouraging. Have been really concentrating on drinking water the last 10 days or so alongside eating well and the weight loss is nice and steady. Hows everyone else getting on?
