So, I’m thinking about doing this, but I’m very scared of the side effects, the cost is a big issue too, what if it doesn’t work?
I don’t want my surgery contacted due a couple of receptionist and confidentiality
Lots of people are talking about counting calories,
I don’t actually eat much proper food, I tend to have 2 rich tea biscuits at 5.30 am and then at 1pm, I’ll have a packet of crisps and then at 6pm, if I fancy it, I’ll have a small bowl of what I’ve cooked for tea, usually chilli, curry, meat and salady stuff , so my concern is that the fact I’m so picky about food, because so many things upset my tummy
i am desperate, I need to lose weight due to my size and the fact I get so out of breath doing anything!

Any advice please?

True .. drinks could be the issue . If you drink full fat / sugar options or juice they really add up .. or sugar in tea etc and milk is very calorific .. something doesn't add up here . The bigger you are the more calories you burn so you would be burning loads just by existing . You don't need to exercise

I’m meant to only drink water due to bladder issues, but I do drink coffee but I only have a tiny bit of milk as I don’t like it

Ok so this isn't adding up at all.

Mounjaro cannot help you as you already say you eat so little. Also your diet is terrible so that's what you need to work on.

You need to record the calories on every bite that passes your lips and it needs to be honest. No one maintains a weight of 20 stone on so little calories!

Record all intake of food and drink for 2 weeks then you can work out what's going on.if a couple of biscuits turns out to be 5, you need to add 5 to your food diary.

I urge you to not take weightloss medication as it will exasperate your gastric issues and potentially restrict your diet even further.instead you need to take time to work out what you're actually eating and drinking.

If your calorie intake is truly what you say, then you need to go to the Drs. MJ would lead to a reduction in your appetite even further which is not what you need.

Do you drink alcohol? You have to be getting calories from somewhere. Being inactive isn't relevant as even staying in bed all day would burn more calories than you currently say you're eating.

This is so odd .. I'm not trying to be mean but it just doesn't add up

It's basic calories in and out and a person your size uses tonnes of Calories just existing .. so those calories are around 1000.. you would be in a 2500 calorie deficit a day and lose a few pounds a week.

I'd get some tests done if this is really the truth and the injections won't help you

Also, if you have significant health issues do not buy drugs over the internet without consulting your GP/specialists.

You need to see your GP- lots of things impact a person's ability to lose weight - your not eating enough already, you have issues with digestion or something else - see your GP ASAP.

I’ve been and there’s nothing medically wrong with me that should stop me losing weight!
it’s just not happening!
