I'm taking my 5th dose a week after my 4th one. It's been working well for me at this dose so I'm using it to get my money's worth. Feel like I'm getting a free week.
Hoping to draw out more than the usual dose to slightly increase my dose ready for starting 5mg next week.
But others have used it at same time as 4th to increase up to 5mg quicker.

I've gone back up 😭. I'm hoping it's all swelling from this heat. My feet and legs hurt so much with the extra pressure. I certainly haven't binged or anything like that.

First 5mg due tomorrow evening. Hoping the weather cools a bit and lets all this swelling go down 😩 and hoping for not many side effects of the higher dose

The injector pen needles I was given with my first two pens is 6mm

Do the needle sizes increase with dose size, or is the longer needle needed to extract the extra dose from the pen?

I've been on Wegovy for 4 weeks now. I'm going to switch to MJ next month as it's cheaper, better supply and more effective.

Pleased with my results so far though:
SW: 220 lb
CW: 202 lb

Focussing on mini goals currently but GW is probably somewhere between 140-154 lb.I'm over 45 and have been overweight for a few years so I'm conscious too much weight loss will not be flattering to my wrinkles!

I've been intermittent fasting, so eating 12-8 midweek, more relaxed at the weekends. I still have an appetite and food thoughts some days but the drug is helping me diet and stay away from alcohol.

Not started exercising yet!

First week done! Still not hungry like I used to be although I definitely had more food noise yesterday. Had an omelette for breakfast though and don't reckon I'll ever need to eat again! 😂

So:
SW - 16st 12lbs
CW - 16st 5lbs
A loss of 7lbs!

I have been having what I usually drink (which admittedly isn't loads) and haven't had any problems. So e.g. a glass of wine with dinner or a sherry before hand or whatever.

I probably drink 5-10 units a week on average and have had quite a few events over the last couple of weeks so will have been on the higher end of that.

I also haven't really had any other side effects from it all other than some mild acid reflux which I sometimes get anyway so I don't know if I am a good example.

Took 5mg lastnight just before bed and feel pretty queasy today , couldn’t face a proper breakfast so just had coffee and a protein bar. Saw my mum for first time in a fortnight and she was really impressed with the difference particularly around waist , I bought some trousers end of May and they are hanging on me - waste of money lol

Took my 5th dose by syringe a while ago. Was easier than I thought to stick a longer needle in myself!
Only got a little over the usual dose, about 0.65ml. Was hoping for a bit more to help step up to 5mg pen next week. But it's a free week, so still happy with that.

I'm so keen to give this a go, I'm 16st 12 and 5'10. About 11.5 stone is my target but at this stage I'd be happy to lose about 3 to get me to a more normal me. I have terrible diastasis recti after having a set of very large twins 3 years ago and it's what that has done to my figure that has made the weigh gain seem a lot worse. I would like to have surgery to sort it out but I know no one will even take a look while I still have so much weight to lose. Losing weight might also improve it a little.

I can't really afford to do it at this moment in time but I feel like it's a bit of a low or never moment. I've got a lot of self loathing going on and I've never been prone to feeling like that before!

Going to price up the cheapest options this afternoon and get cracking.

Today I had my 3rd injection. Here are my results so far:

Week 1: -2.4 kg
Week 2: -1.3 kg

Hi @Snozzlemaid I did the same with bonus dose. Am now taking 3.5mg for the next few weeks to get myself ready for 5mg. Felt like 2.5mg wasn’t enough to shut out food noise and getting hungry towards the end of the week. Bit apprehensive about 5mg. But happy with 27 pounds off in 7 weeks.

I'm going to order the needles and try and get 5 doses out of it. I had gestational diabetes and was on insulin and blood thinners in my last pregnancy so the needle and pen part should be a doddle!

I started nearly 4wks ago at 15st12 and am now 14st9. I started with Asda as had 20% off code but swapped to Zava (who are the same as Asda anyway) but much cheaper.

@JessicaPeach I had blood thinners too in my 4th and 5th pregnancies - I agree these are way easier!

I know I say this at least once a day but this stuff is just mad. I have had a banana and some bircher muesli today and a flat white to drink. Suddenly it's 4pm and I haven't thought about food at all. DH is doing steak for dinner so I think I'll hold out for that.

3.5 like you or 3.75 maybe. I have the chart with the number of clicks.
I'm concerned about doubling up on the dose. I've been lucky with side effects so far and don't want that to change.

Weighed this morning at 14 days through and have lost 8lb in total so far. I'm absolutely delighted as I only needed to lose about 32lb in total and that's an ideal rather than an essential. Obviously it may drop off in terms of pace, but I'd be delighted with another 16lb really, as I have a lot of muscle so I don't think sitting low in the overweight territory would be indicative of ill health.

I started trying to lose weight last summer and had lost a hard fought 18lb and then stalled. At that point I had totally given up on ever getting back to a "healthy" weight and was aiming to get under 12 stone as a starting point. I'm now 2lb off that in 2 weeks with no side effects and no suffering.

I feel like if this doesn't turn out to have unknown long term side effects it will be completely transformative. I'm hopeful the prices will start coming down significantly over the coming years to make it more accessible.

People who are going up to 3.75mg instead of 5, do you know if the pen will work for over 4 doses if you don't do a full dose?
