Silly question - is there anything to stop me making a new account with Zava now and saying I'm a brand new mounjaro user to get a new 2.5ml pen and just save it and start that pen mid-July?

I got my first one with Voy but the next pen is over £200.

It means an extra month on 2.5 but I can live with that.

I’ve just taken my 2nd injection a day early - Felt fine earlier, although now I feel awful with nausea. Maybe pull your dose forward, but you might get worse side effects.

I tried to swap to zava for my 2nd pen but when I started with voy my bmi was over 30 and I lost weight quick so when I ordered it with zava it was just under 30 and they turned me down and I had to wait for the refund which was very annoying, as id written that I was already on it and needed the 5mg. I went back to voy and they’ve been great. Best thing is to post your discount code and hope someone uses it!

I was like this on my third and my 4th it just feels non existent.

I did my first 2.5 on friday and I think at this point I can say the immediate effects aren't just psychosomatic. I'm on my own tonight when usually I'd cook for two, and trying to decide what to have for dinner was impossible because I just didn't want any of it. I'm a big snacker and haven't wanted to snack at all. I don't feel full, just not hungry.

I'm now 12 days in and have become convinced the effects can't be psychosomatic because I can't be eating more than 1000 calories per day and normally I want to gnaw my own arm off on less than about 1700. It's just utterly weird.

@hoarahloux its utterly bizarre isn’t it! We had dim sum for dinner and I persuaded DH not to cook the entire freezer. I only managed 3 gyoza and some veg. I’ve not had much protein though today so need to get a yoghurt in.

Old habits die hard for me. I am on week 4 of 2.5. I have been thinking about food all day. Ordered pizza, chips and garlic sauce. Had half of each. Managed to stop myself eating the whole lot. It was tough.

Still hungry now. Would love some chocolate.

I think I am ready for 5mg on Thursday.

First injection on Saturday and stuck in bed since dh passed on his man-flu on Sunday. Feel awful, fever and shivers and have barely eaten, no appetite at all, no idea if it is the injection or the cold! Off work. Trying to drink lots.

Guess my weight loss will be a lot this week! Then it will take a couple of weeks to balance out.

Have spent days reading all of the threads and thught I would post here as I am a June starter!
Am now on day 5 of my first week. I was TERRIFIED of doing my first jab and managed to cock it up as I didn't wind the end out fully to one and it HURT and then bled more than I expected (plus the pain of a wasted needle!). Was so worried about side effects but they've been pretty minimal barring being a little cold for a couple of days and feeling a bit 'bunged up'.
I really thought not a lot was happening but have noticed that, whilst I am hungry, I am not feeling sick with hunger like I used to be in the morning! The last few days, I have had breakfast (poached eggs and asparagus) and then not really wanted to eat till 3/4 pm and not been bothered after that.
Realised today that I haven't had any diet coke for two days which is practically unheard of! Still find myself wanting wine in the evenings and have gone with it for now and noticed that I am happy with much less than before.
I went out for a roast yesterday and ate much less than usual (actually left TWO roast potatoees on my plate!!)
The big test was food shopping today! I walked past the cinamon whirls in Lidl without stopping and then made myself go back and look and I was 'meh'!
Food noise is OFF (bit sad really as I love planning and cooking yummy meals) and I am a little worried about son and partner visiting in a couple of weeks as I haven't told anyone and will need to be my usual enthusuastic chef self!

I did second on Saturday and felt the same. Back to wanting to snack and feeling hungry whereas last week I could barely eat. I've weighed today and lost 1lb since Saturday so I think it'll be ok.

I’m on the countdown to my next dose on Thursday - going to be very interesting to see if any food noise kicks in over the next couple of days

3rd 2.5 jab yesterday, total weight loss since starting barely even registering 1lb. I've definitely been eating less, drinking more water and exercising (although not lots because of the heat and painful left knee).

I honestly don't know if I'm doing something wrong, have a faulty pen or something else. Didn't even feel any appetite suppression yesterday. I'm so disappointed.

@knackeredcat thats so frustrating - do your clothes feel looser? I know with me it always always reflects in measurements way more than the scales

@Callmejudith funny you should say that because I do look like I've gone in a little at the waist, and I never had a waist to speak of even when I was slimmer. I can live with that if it continues even if the weight loss is minimal for now. Will dig out my measuring tape 😁

I'm definitely the same as you @Gloscentsgal in that I'm feeling fuller quicker and leaving some of my dinner even with the smaller portion sizes. I have only been injecting in my stomach so far and even then on the left side, so I'll try the right side or even the thigh next time. Arm looks tricky!

Thanks for the welcome @Callmejudith I am due my second on Wednesday evening and am excited to see what happens! I have been keeping a diary of how I feel all week and definitely noticed a ‘sticky’ mouth and nasty taste in the first few days along with a raging thirst.
Also realised this morning that my thigh still feels a little bruised so am planning on trying my stomach next time and will report back on any difference.
@knackeredcat & @Gloscentsgal I also think measuring is the way to go if there are no/minimal losses on the scales. A small win for me is that my hands are less swollen and my rings are looser!!!

6 days out from my first injection and the food noise has definitely started picking up again - woke up properly hungry for the first time since injecting and my breakfast hasn't really settled things down. I'm doing my second injection today anyway as travelling, will be interested to see what happens based on some of the above.

Will be doing my first 5mg this Thursday. The heat is unbearable (I've always struggled). so I'm hoping losing weight helps even a bit.

I've noticed that my feet don't quite swell as much, they have in this heat but I usually would have had much earlier and lengthier swelling for a lot of summer. I've hit a plateau unfortunately so I'm hoping the 5mg will give me a kick.

@mandarindreams im 5 days in and definitely feeling peckish today - I’m much much better at being “good” during the week though so I can hold off on snacking I’m sure.

@mandarindreams I am day 6 too and, whilst not starving, the food noise is definitely back 😟 I am sitting here thinking about my next meal!

Well despite waking up peckish I had my electrolytes in a pint of water, went about my day and realised at 11.30 I hadn't eaten! I was already at the gym so got a Grenade bar which was so sweet and made me feel really sick. I did my pump class and could actually see a hint of a waist in the mirror - miracle.

The kids have requested spag bol tonight - I usually eat two big bowls....let's see what happens.
