Will my dress still fit?

Wedding booked for end of December and have just found out I'm 5 weeks pregnant.
I've already had my first fitting for my dress and am due to go back for second fitting in three weeks. Should I phone and let the seamstress know? What are the chances I'll still fit into the dress? It is my second pregnancy and my breast have started to grow alarmingly fast - I'm normally almost flat but grew to 34 E last time.
Any advice please!!!

Ah, a winter wedding - how lovely for you.

With my 2nd pregnancy I grew outwards alot quicker (muscles just gave up I think) and by 12 weeks I resigned myself to maternity trousers.

So I would let your seamstress know, you can always go back for a final fitting a couple of weeks before the big day.

definitely tell her! with my second, I didn't even get to 6 weeks without needing to get bigger clothes. When the body knows where it's going, it just gets right there fast!

I'm sure she'll have enough time to make the allowances so you can breathe in your dress on the big day. Good luck.

Have spoken to her and she's not going to do anything with the dress until I see her in Dec - 3 weeks before the big day. She seemed very reassuring - so hopefully should be ok.
