For destination weddings, what kind of shoes work best – wedges, heels, or sandals?

Beach + wedding = shoe dilemma 😅 What would you pick and why? Help future brides out!

Surely it depends on which destination you have in mind…?

I would definitely go for some lovely flat sandals - unless someone has literally raked the sand flat beforehand, any sort of heel run the risk of a twisted ankle

Anyway, if the ceremony is happening on a beach there will possibly be some kind of temporary flooring put down so you may be safe with wedges but id go with flats to be on the safe side.

Totally agree! Flats are the safest bet—heels on sand are just asking for trouble 😅.
