How long before you got married did you submit the application for the licence? Please tell me it will be ok 😭

Getting married (hopefully) in 7 weeks and I have just checked local councils website and the marriage notice form and paperwork should have been done 10 weeks before (my partner has been divorced) .
I have now ordered relevant birth /divorce certificate and will get all the documents and application posted on Tuesday as soon as they arrive . Is it likely to be ok ?
Been having some health issues lately and completely forgot I had to do this for some reason I had convinced myself I could do it up to the month before 🫣
We are in Glasgow if this is of any relevance.

I organised our wedding in 6 weeks in Glasgow. No prior divorce, so perhaps simpler, can’t recall how long we had to submit but it must have been fine as we’re married. Also everyone we dealt with at the registry etc was v nice & helpful.
