SHEIN dresses

Hi. I’m getting married on a budget, has anyone actually had a wedding dress off SHEIN? There’s so many sites that have lovely looking dresses for cheap but not many reviews and everyone says they are a nightmare to return if they aren’t any good. Thanks.

Oxfam sell new ex display dresses, as well as vintage. Would that be worth a look?
https://onlineshop.oxfam.org.uk/category/bridal-wedding-dresses?N=3336598367&Ns=product.creationDate|1&Ntk=&Nr=AND(product.active:1,NOT(sku.listPrice:0.000000))&No=0&Nf=sku.listPrice|GT+0&Nrpp=30

Shein may be cheap but it’s built on slave labour.

Shein items are amazingly easy to return and the refund really quick. Me and my daughters buy loads and have never had an issue.

Thank you. I have already looked, with being a size 6 there isn’t much on offer anywhere 2nd hand.

Have a look at Still White - lots of amazing dresses there...

I get lots of clothes altered at the dry cleaners. Most can do a decent job for not a lot of money.

Not wedding, but I have had a couple of evening dresses from SHEIN. Look at the pictures in the reviews carefully to give an idea of what they look like in real life. Both dresses were beautiful.

If you have a charity shop near you that might be worth a look. Our local charity shop has loads of brand new samples which the wedding dress companies give to them.

Thanks for the reply, I went to a charity shop that specialises in wedding dresses but they only had two size 8s that really weren’t my style. I have ordered 3 from SHEIN now. Il see what they are like when they come back.

Have you looked for charity shops that have wedding sections? There are lots. I manage a tiny charity shop and we have 2 wedding dresses we use in display and get out if people ask for them. They're both tiny sizes so you might just need to ask in more charity shops!

There's loads of size 6 wedding dresses on vinted.

Also try any local wedding dress outlets. The size 6 ones in my local outlet start at £99 whereas in my size (12) they start at £499 so you could get a real bargain. They're ex-display dresses.
