Wedding dress on a budget - opinions on JJs House

Hello all.
DP and I are getting married next year and we are doing it on a bit of budget.
I do not want —cannot afford— to spend a lot on the dress but would like something I love wearing. Wherever I look online JJs House keeps popping up. I have seen some very pretty ones on there.
Can I please ask for experiences and opinions of their wedding dresses???

I haven't bought a wedding dress from there but I did get DD's prom dress and then a formal dress for me. They were very well made. I took the prom dress to a dressmaker for slight adjustments and they said it was very good quality. That doesn't help with the wedding dress but I would buy again.

I heard the quality is generally poor, so I won't consider JJs house.

We've had two prom dresses from JJs House and have been very pleased with the quality. The sizing was exactly as specified, so much so that if using again, I would probably go for the custom made option (which can't be returned).
we too had to have the length adjusted on one of them by a professional seamstress who was very impressed by the quality.

Thanks all.
I have just seen that they have a pop up store in London going for a couple of months. So I will try make my way there. Luckily three of the dresses I am interested in will be in store so I can actually gauge the quality in person. Thankfully there will be enough time to come up with a plan B if I am not happy with the quality.

You can get try on dresses from JJ house for £10 each. I did this and they were well made. I ended up buying my wedding dress from a preloved FB group, but it's more of a MOB dress. I got a beautiful designer dress that was perfect and had been worn once. Cost less than half what it would be new.

Found the quality poor.

Monsoon have gorgeous budget wedding dresses.

Personally....
I'd:
go to wed2b (as in go instore)
Try on a few dresses and find the dress(es) you like
Stalk vinted and ebay and buy it 2nd hand

It'll be £100-250 maybe cheaper if you haggle a deal.on vinted
