What footware to wear to a wedding where the venue is in a cave!

Hello! Basically I'm really struggling with footwear ideas and I need you to help a girl out.

I'm going to be a bridesmaid for a wedding in summer but the venue is in a cave so I have been told no heals/open toe shoes so I am so stuck on what to wear!! I am going to be wearing a midi body on dress so it will need to be something that would go with that.

I am rubbish when it comes to fashion and pairing together outfits 😂

Converse or similar

Trainers or something with a good grippy sole as the cave floor is likely to be slippy.

White converse with ribbon laces and maybe a bit of bling ( they sell them on eBay )

If your bridesmaid shouldn’t it be the bride’s choice?

I’d ask her. I’d go with DM’s as I think they look great with dresses, but she may prefer Nike’s, or something more subtle like converse of vans. Presumably you’ll need to coordinate with her colour scheme as well?

what’s the bride wearing?

Walking boots? Something with a Vibram sole or a good grip?

If you've chosen to host your wedding inside a cave, you can't expect dress shoes.

I'd be searching for pics of inside the actual cave or contacting the cave 'company' and ask specifically about the flooring! The few I've been in, often have wooden platforms to walk along. Sometimes there are wooden stairs built in, other times rocky stairs are cut into the rock! Is the ceremony being held inside? On sand, rock, wood?

Apologies, but I'm not sure what a 'midi body on dress' is? Are there other BM's you can discuss this with? I'd wear trainers to get to the venue location, then maybe wedges, depending on the flooring.

A bodycon bridesmaid dress?! In a cave?

Erm. DMs I suppose.

Are there regulations on what you can wear? I would say trainers but check if it's going to be slippery?
Take some other shoes to change into after the cave bit!

Is it a cave with natural surface underfoot? Or a visitor attraction with concrete floors?
