Bridesmaids dress colour Help! (With pics)

Hi, me again!

I posted a few days ago about having chosen my dress but its not ivory which makes me question my colour scheme.

So I think I've narrowed the choices down to the following colours.

Would love some opinions maybe you could give me your top 2 or 3?

It's not so much about the colour of the bridesmaids dress more which will make my dress look best (first official bridezilla moment!) All the colours would suit the bridesmaids I think. All beautiful girls 😊

@PurplePansy05 I prefer the sage to the olive green as a colour in itself for the bridesmaids but it doesn't make my dress look as good. It makes it look a bit dirty 😳

The green one looks very classy

What about a green like these? I think it would contrast really nicely with your dress.

I did a collage with a green like that but just wasnt sure it looks as good

Although now at 2nd glance I'm not sure! Why is this so difficult?! 😆

I like it! I think a stronger colour for the bridesmaids will show up the lovely colour of your dress with a good contrast. Softer shades just blend in with your dress.

Snugglemonkey · 07/09/2022 21:09

I like the sage.

worriedniece · 07/09/2022 21:59

The pale green for me

You force your friends to wear whatever colour you like dear.

OneFootintheRave · 07/09/2022 22:03

Sage green

Largethighsbadeyes · 07/09/2022 22:48

@allow aren't you special!

Only 1 "friend" as a bridesmaid and she likes the olive so I've decided on that.

@Largethighsbadeyes

Try: www.thandth.com

They have a kids range that matches colour to the adult collection.

I think you need a warm colour with that wedding dress. I like the coffee colour best, but also some shades of green

averythinline · 11/02/2023 17:20

great dress , the 2nd green esp sep you maybe surprised i got married on the 29th and it was v sunny and warm.....

theresstillbaileys · 15/02/2023 00:27

I'm not sure the structure of your dress with the unstructured bridesmaid design works. Though both separately are nice.

I loved the 60's trend of bridesmaids wearing the same colour as the bride. Bride had princess style, bridesmaid column dress. Looked so classy

THe olive green works better than the teal a PP posted as the olive has yellow undertones which work with the brown suit and cream dress. The teal has blue undertones which clash with those shades. The Dunteray website has a very wide range of styles in olive green and also sell their chiffon fabric by the metre so you could get cream dresses for the children and have sashes from the chiffon. You could also have different styles in the same fabric for the adult and teen bridesmaids.

OP posted this in sept last year, she's probably sorted it by now.
