Did you name your tables?

Just that really - did your tables have names relevant to you and if so, what were they?
The only examples of this I can think of is one wedding I went to where the tables were named after Disney films and one where the tables were all places the Bride & Groom had travelled to together
I think it’s quite an easy way to add a personal touch rather than just numbers but I’m struggling to think of something we could use

What did you have?

DH didn't want numbers for the weird ranking thing so we went round the houses for a while looking for a theme. Ended up just doing A to E!

Is that not also ranking..?

We had four long tables and named them the four roads we have lived in together. A good friends had different gins with an empty bottle of said gin and a candle in which was nice. Another friend had Scottish landmarks, another had travel destinations. I love it!

I think we had name of pubs we liked. (Classy) but I may be mis-remembering.

My friend had cocktails and everyone at the table got the cocktail of the table they were at when they arrived it was great

We bought a load of Mills and Boon books, laminated the covers, and each table was the title of a book. Can’t remember any of them now!

We got married at Christmas. We avoided
an all out Christmassy santa’s grotto type look, but decided to go with Christmas songs for the names of the tables - each one had the single cover on it.

It was probably a bit naff but it made a few people smile. It fell quite well in that in quite a few cases the song choice was appropriate to at least some of the guests at that table.

We saw a great thing where on the background of the table names they had pages from books, so we did that. Our table names weren't very personal, they were to do with an overall theme but underneath was a passage from a book, or lyrics, or a scene from a movie.
