What to write in a wedding card of terminal groom?

We're attending a wedding in a couple of weeks of a lovely couple who, very sadly, the groom has been giving months to live.

I am stuck as what to write as it's normally along the lines of health, wealth and long life together etc but sadly this isn't the case.

Does anyone have ideas?

We had to do this. We concentrated on the day and their love for each other. Amazingly poignant but beautiful wedding.

May every moment together be filled with love and joy.

Don’t overthink it, it doesn’t have to be lengthy!

Dear Bob and Joan, congratulations on your marriage, you’re a lovely couple and we are so happy to share your day with you. Love, Rose

Focus on the eternal, transcendental love that binds us.

I read this poem to my brother’s wife at his funeral.

It may give you ideas on how to frame the word love for a couple whose time is limited but whose love is endless. You can be guided by that sad truth while writing meaningful words of joy and celebration for the love and the life they have been blessed with. Flowers

Yeah actually… what Gointo said! Smile

Thank you all.

Yes I've been over thinking it!

Will keep it short and to the point.

@TheVanguardSix what a beautiful poem 💔
