I get married in two days. I should be exited but I’m really flat. We found out yesterday one of my bridesmaids has covid which means the best man has to self isolate. Including them we’ve had 5 drop outs to the day, 10 drop outs to the evening. I cancelled last year due to covid, and rescheduled to this year when June 21st was supposed to happen. It hasn’t. Now all this. There’s 50 to the day and an extra 10 to the evening. It all feels such a waste. I want to marry my partner , but I can’t be bothered with the after party which has cost me £8k including a band. So we have no best man and we are a bridesmaid down. Wish we delayed the whole thing but 3 days before was just too late.
