Where to find nice wedding shoes that aren't too pricey?

I'm getting married in October and really need to get my shoes by August for wedding dress fitting. My dress is vintage style length, so my shoes will be on show. Peep toe or sandal looks nicest with the style of dress.

Charlotte Mills shoes are so beautiful, but I don't want to spend £250. I can only manage a heel of 7.5cm without struggling. I would quite like a light blue / pink / purple peep toe or sandal that I can wear again. Any ideas?

Have you tried Debenhams sale? They stock a lot of bridal brands including paradox and jenny packham. You will get some great deals.

Have you looked at Rainbow Club? They can be dyed pretty much any colour, and are apparently very comfortable.

I bought mine from ASOS bridal - peep toe, satin, ivory, small heel and only £16!

Rainbow club definitely. They are really comfortable and I don’t do heels post children!! Order them online, make sure they fit then send them to be dyed whatever colour you choose. In the range of £70-100

Another vote for irregular choice. I had Floxys. I'm not normally a heel person but I managed them fine - only took them off to avoid slipping while dancing

Have you got a designer outlet place near you? I got some beautiful bridal Jimmy Choo's from Bicester Village a while back for £75.

My nearest outlet is Cheshire Oaks and that's really too far for me to go just for a look, but I'll consider it if I'm desperate!

Good tips thank you everyone, I'll start looking online this week Smile There's so much to pay for and organise I'm leaving it a bit late now!

Why not look for the Charlotte Mills shoes you like on eBay. Chances are they’ll be as new but can still be your “ something old”.

I think buy online. Order a load from ASOS or La Redoute and you’ll have a pair by next week. I would also have a back up flat pair for later unless happy to go bare foot. It can be a long day on your feet.

@SheWoreBlueVelvet I've got my trusty flats ready Grin

I'm a 5.5 which is such an awkward size. I usually buy my shoes at Clarks (they've gone quite trendy in the past few years!) and fit their 5.5 perfectly, but they don't have anything quite right.
