I was actually quite keen to not have any, but DP is insisting that we should...

SO - what did you have for your wedding favours? Or what are you planning on having?

We've got around 120 guests so ideally I'd like to keep costs low!

Didn't have any

We had chocolate bars made by the lady who made our cake and dessert buffet.
We chose milk chocolate and orange or white chi late and raspberry, and they all went!
The kids had candy floss flavour lollipops instead of the chocolate

We had Hotel chocolat hearts and nobody left theirs behind ( much to my disappointment). They also do heart lollies which are cheaper and the chocolate is lovely.

We had mini bottles of cocktails. I had a great night in with a few friends creating some and deciding which ones to use. We ended up with 2 alcoholic ones & a soft drink. They went down very well, and as we had made extra we put those on the bar for evening guests and anyone who wanted extra.

Shots of Gin in mini jam jars as they were so cheap off eBay. I got 60 jam jars for 20 quid and personalised labels for 8 then I've just got to buy some gin to go in them. Will amount to about 50 quid to make 60 shots and will put pic n mix in them for the children.

We haven't booked our date yet, but we are throwing ideas about! I always wanted a spring/Easter wedding and would have given £1 Easter eggs out as a favour

Second the suggestion for wine name charms! VMBespoke does them for about 50p each and they are just stunning- and since they are pulling double duty as table names they aren’t wasted if people don’t take them.

Recently been to a friends's wedding who had a krispy kreme donut as the 'favour' but the name cards were caricatures of the guest. They we're BRILLIANT. Everyone loved them. I'm jealous as I'd love to do it at my own wedding haha.

We just planning to put jars of sweets on the tables. When I've been to weddings (4 this year alone) a lot of the favours get forgotten / ignored. At least if the sweets are left I can take them home myself Grin

Hand made crackers, we filled them with an after dinner mint, love poems, magic fish and some Mr and Mrs glitter. Went down very well. We also had some bubbles for the children. We used the crackers as place markers too.

Large boxes of celebrations, quality streets, heroes on a table which they could help themselves to. They all went.

Love Hearts sweets in a little bag.
