I think it might be nice if the grand old house is house is in the south of France or Italy. Too chilly looking on the top for a uk wedding and it does look overly sexual with the corset.
I like the bottom though!

Xmasfairy86 · 14/02/2018 12:26

I like it but think it needs to be strapless. That would remove the ‘underwear’ look people are seeing

TokyoP · 14/02/2018 13:21

Good point Xmas

Sorry it's a no from me.

TokyoP · 14/02/2018 13:28

Can I ask if people feel the same about the back? I absolutely love the back but I do understand what people are saying re the front.

Pic will probably show twice now Hmm or not at all.

I think it's stunning, and very classy.

TokyoP · 14/02/2018 13:35

No idea if anyone else can see the pic of the back but here’s a link

I think if you have the figure it’s stunning. Given the back, strapless won’t work. Wonder how it would look with ever so slightly wider straps?

Honestly though, I thought it was stunning and didn’t think it looked like underwear. If you feel great and confident in ur, fuck anyone else x

MiddleClassProblem · 14/02/2018 13:39

*it

Luckingfovely · 14/02/2018 13:39

I really don't like it at all - sorry. I sort of understand why you do- it is very striking. But I don't think in a good way.

It looks cheap to me (although sure it isn't; it screams My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding, which I think is what it must have been designed for). And lastly - the flare comes at a very odd height - it looks very unbalanced and strange. Oh - and finally lastly - unless you have exactly the same figure and height as that model it would be very exposing and not at all flattering.

I think you could do better Smile

AwayAndStuffYourself · 14/02/2018 13:41

It really is gorgeous..if it suits you and you love it, then go for it..it's your day, not anyone elses..I can't imagine anyone being anything other than blown away by it..it's stunning.

TokyoP · 14/02/2018 13:41

Thanks middle!

And lucking thanks for your honesty 😂

It’s a no from me. Even the model isn’t carrying it off.

It’s a showpiece but it lacks the princess or fairytale look of a classy wedding dress.

The dress is trying too hard.

And the idea of spending a day in fills me with horror. I’d be forever adjusting it.

Sorry OP

What’s the second choice?

Time40 · 14/02/2018 13:50

It's absolutely beautiful, but it looks like sexy underwear. It's too tight and revealing for a wedding dress.

HumpHumpWhale · 14/02/2018 13:54

I think it's beautiful. She's standing on a box, though. Nobody has over 50% of their total height from the knee down. I'd be interested to see it on a normal person.

notuptoyou · 14/02/2018 13:58

Love it!

Costacoffeeplease · 14/02/2018 13:59

The back is way too bare, and from the front it looks like underwear and an underskirt - it doesn’t say bridal to me

HeddaGarbled · 14/02/2018 13:59

It has too many overly sexy features. The very form fitting shape would be OK if there were more coverage of the back and breasts and shoulders. Or the low back would be OK if the bum wasn't so emphasised by the shape. Georgeous features but too many in the one dress making it look overly sexy for a wedding dress, particularly if the venue is classy.

marmiteloversunite · 14/02/2018 13:59

Have you tried it on? I think the back is lovely and I wonder if it would look less underwear like with a veil? I agree that wider straps might be better.

BrazzleDazzleDay · 14/02/2018 14:00

Gad no, it looks flimsy as hell! The Kandace ones nicer if youre into that kinda thing

TokyoP · 14/02/2018 14:01

I’d love to post the picture of me wearing it as it does look different, I don’t think it looks as “revealing” on me but I don’t want to be recognised Grin fwiw I am quite tall and slim so it’s not unflattering.

Tbh I probably wouldn’t have picked it had I seen this picture first, it was the sales assistant that thought it would suit me. The rest just sort of hung off me and I looked silly. Aghhhh decisions!!!

userabcname · 14/02/2018 14:04

If it suits you, go for it! I would never have even tried on the dress I bought based on the pictures of it but when I saw it in real life and how well it fitted me, it had to be the one I went for! It's your wedding day - I bet you will look amazing and even if other people don't like it they are hardly going to tell you. Do it!!!!

BrazzleDazzleDay · 14/02/2018 14:04

Ach bloody buy it then!!

MiddleClassProblem · 14/02/2018 14:05

Can you blur out your head?
