Would anyone like to go wedding dress shopping with me?

Just that, really! I haven't told anyone I'm getting married yet. It's at a bridal shop near Grimsby/Scunthorpe on Saturday morning if anyone would like to assist. I have no idea what I'm doing!

My DM and DD also want to come. My DM claims that as she watches Say Yes To The Dress she is fully qualified for the job and my DD (4) just said 'yaaay Shopping!' So you may have a Wedding Dress Squad

I’ve been dress shopping with dn recently. Some dresses that looked awful on the hanger were actually lovely and suited her more on.

She actually end up buying one she had picked up on the hanger and said yuck to but the lady convinced her to try it.

That's the thing - I couldn't turn up on my own, I just couldn't! Will try to force myself to try things on that don't look that great on the hanger.

Just keep convincing myself I'm going to look really silly because I'm so short :(

I would have loved to and I’m not too far but dd is at a music workshop and has to be collected at 12, sorry

I felt I'd look silly in any dress as I'm only 5"1 wasn't the case at all and I only wore kitten heels on the day for comfort. I'm the same as a pp was waiting for the wow moment and all the crap you see on tv. I didn't get that i liked about 3 dresses more than any others. I continued to try more on and my mind kept thinking of one I tried on previously, I went back to the shop and tried it on again, then I fell in love. Plus I'm quite undecisive so that way defo worked for me. (I tried on about 40 dresses and the one i got was about number 25) Goodluck xx

They have a raised podium so the dress hangs well on shorties!

As long as there no fancy hem anything can be turned up easily.
