Can I wear a blouse and skirt to a wedding?

Struggling to find a dress I can BF in.

Normally I wouldn't worry but MIL wore white to my wedding despite being asked not to which upset me and I know black is a big no no (which I would wear in another occasion).

Would it be ridiculous if I asked the bride if this is ok?

I don't think you'd need to ask the bride about that, I think it would be fine. There are plenty of breastfeeding friendly dresses, what kind of thing do you usually like and how much do you want to spend?

Thanks for replying @Swearwolf , I typed the message in a frenzy walking around the shops but then luck was on my side in the next shop I walked in to, and there it was. Burgundy, knee length, slightly off shoulder with a stretchy top I can easily pop a boob out of! It was cheap too, which is sadly a requirement. Thank you though!

Sounds great. Glad you're sorted!

Are you only allowed to wear dresses to weddings? I really hope not, I've shit legs and was planning on wearing trousers to a wedding next year!

@SnipSnipMrBurgess I never thought of that! Of course that would look very nice and smart.
