Engagement ring- does it come to bed?

So, we chose the ring together and it arrived yesterday and I have been having fun twiddling it and catching sight of the sparkle every now and again and getting used to how it feels on my finger. But I realised last night that I'm not sure if I should take it off at night for bed. DP says he's never slept with an engaged woman before so he wouldn't know . Kept it on last night but was very conscious of it and a bit uncomfortable. Do you take yours off?

Only taken it off twice : once on the wedding day, and then at 30 weeks pregnant since sausage fingers have become too fat for my rings. Wear them on a chain around my neck though.
It does take a bit of getting used to. I always wore jewellery and big chunky rings so this was just a classier version of my thrift store purchases ;) but my sister rarely wears jewellery and found it took a few weeks to get used to it. I also turn the stone around when giving massages, kneading dough, making meatballs etc.

I take if off regularly at work, I work with equipment where it would interfere with the signals. But otherwise generally keep it on! Like you took some getting used to!
